Trolca, your work is absolutely fantastic.  It makes me proud to run railroad tracks through my cities now.  Hope you continue to post awesome work!

btw: I love the SD40.

I work for the US Army. I go places, visit mean people, and kill them.

Winston Churchill is generall credited for saying something to the effect of: "People sleep soundly in their beds because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf". That about sums up my life, besides the "rough men" part.

Here's a new frieght engine. I'll release it along with the previous cars in the next few days. I haven't found my ID spreadsheet so I need to make sure that I'm not using duplicate numbers. Before I do more I should package all of my previous work, each set with a readme file and possibly some images in it's own zip file.

Here's a closer look at the logo.

I'll see what I can do with a steam engine like those some time.

For now, here are the four covered hoppers I posted on the previous page. There are two Coffee Farmer COOP cars in one DAT file. The Hog Wild Feed Co and the Chicago Northwestern are in separate DAT files. All four are in this attached ZIP file.

I'm having trouble with my SC4 install so I haven't been able to test these cars but it's just a texture and ID change so there shouldn't be any problems. They appear correctly in the Ilive Reader.

Thanks to Swamper77's spreedsheat, I have a much better idea of what's been done. I still need to be careful with assigning ID numbers until the database is complete with used ID numbers.

For now, here's the American Union freight engine and a set of four boxcars. The engine is in its own DAT file. The four boxcars are in a single DAT file.

I'm going to start updating my previous sets and placing them in the STEX, starting with River Haven.

Oooh, a docksider. Those things are awesome.

The American Union set looks good. It's another great piece of work to add to your resume.

I found and corrected an error with the red Coffee Farmers covered hopper set. Here's the correction. If you're using this set, just replace the file RHCovHopCoffee Farmers01_11337830to40.dat.

    Sorry about the error.

I didn't forget Santa Fe. I'll get back to it some time. I'm nearly ready to put the complete updated River Haven set in STEX.

For now here are some covered hoppers to replace the game originals.

Here's images of some of the River Haven hopper set I made to replace the older shorter ones. I made a new coal texture as well. Does anyone feel I should go this route?

I should be able to release to updated River Haven set this weekend.

Can't we have both? I like the short ones too, as well as the newer ones seen in the pics. In RL, we see both kinds anyway......... 2.gif
