New airports not working

Hello, how's it going.  I'm having a problem with my new airports. I deleted one city in my region and when i built it again, the airport did not work, it shows everything normal but has no passengers, and i've let it run for a long time. I tried it in other cities and, in old cities, it works, but in a new city, they don't work.

Has anyone had this problem before? would really appreciate some help! thanks!

I have not had that problem, but do you have it connected with a road of some sort?  I put transit stations close by to encourage more usage.

Maybe more information will help someone solve the problem.

oh, am sorry, I should of said that. 

The airport receives employment and all, from cars, and buses. and i see the planes go by it. it works normally. But it has 0 people traveling.

Its weird, it has never happen before. I installed a while ago the industry quadupler, it was the last plugin i downloaded, but i removed it and the problem is still there.

by the way, i have tried all 3 airports and non work..

but the weird thing is that in already established cities the airports due work, and if i bulldoze them they work also. only in new cities they don't work.

Are you using downloaded airports or the standard in-game ones?

I guess no one has asked the stupid question.  Did your game request the airport?  Or did you just want one anyway?  Is it connected by a fast link to your commercial center (Elevated rail or monorail)?

yeah, they requested the airports, but its like a game problem, because in every city i start, just to try it, it doesnt work. its connected by road only.

This appears to be a new problem.  What is different about your old cities vs. the new ones, plugin-wise?

There's no difference actually, the same things i put in the new one is in the old ones. I tried it without any aditional plugin, just original buildings, and it doesnt work either.

I tried in another region and the airports do work.. that just makes it even weirder...

If the cause is a MOD, which I would suspect, when you find it you will probably need to delete the new cities, and start over with them.

EDIT:  Something I just thought of, you need a thriving commercial district for airport travel.  They are the only ones that use the airports.

yeah, as long as you have some commercial activity, then there would be some travel, because in a new region, i just made a city up to try the airports, and they worked, i mean it had like a 100 travelers, but in the other region there is like 30,000 people and it does not work...

The airport suddenly started working, i deleted all roads leading to it, and rebuilt with avenues and it worked...mmm.. soo sorry for the problem! and thanks for the help!!
