Cant find in-game tutorial

Hi

I just got the game yesterday, and i cant find the in game tutorial. According to the instructions there should be a red arrow pointing to the "mayor tutorial" in my opening region (berlin) but it isnt in mine. Am i looking in the wrong place or did something go wrong?

Any help at all would be great.

If you have Rush Hour or Deluxe, the tutorial is Timbuktu.  For vanilla Simcity 4 it is called Maxisland.

ok well im not to sure what the vanilla version is but im guessing its mine, its just the regular one EA classics, but there is no maxis town in mine im confused

Look in program files\maxis\simcity 4\regions.  It should contain a folder named Maxisland which contains the tutorial stuff.  Copy this folder to your My Documents\Simcity 4\Regions folder.

If you don't fine this folder, your install is incomplete.  I would uninstall the game, and re-install it in that case.

Thanks I found maxisland + NYC and San Fran 

so hopefully that works
