Train Stations

Although there are train stations out there, I find that what is out there is not either very big, or you have a hard time getting the trains to stop at them.  If anyone has any suggestions as to what I can use for both freight and passenger train stations, please let me know.

I think I've either maxed out or hit 50,000 on every station I've DLed from here, and I've gotten most of them from BAT...

I've maxed out the Kings Cross, Gare du Nord, and Charing Cross Station available here in the same city before.

Edit: I think you may be using them in too small a city.  They have to be effective transport to a very large area to get used, that means the closest stations to it, their closes route into the city must be through that station....Basically, you can't have a redundant road with the tracks, or sims will chose car or bus because they do not have the large transfer in the city.

I tend to divide my cities where rails go through, and have the rail travel quickly between two strategic locations.  I find it particularly useful for intercity traffic.

Thanks for the info. Even though I have been playing Sim 4 for awhile, I still feel as though I am a novice. I do most of my playing though trial and error. And alot of error, lol. I am sure glad they have the option of obliderate!!!!!!!!!!

If anyone else has any useful information to help me, I would most gladly accept your advice.
