buses are running at over 100 % the subways are running over 100% and the glt are over 200 % and traffic is still really really bad most of the street have been upgraded to roads some to aves can not put in highways i would have to destroy a lot of the city to do this i am this close to using that shift 0 thing moose spoke of in another post i don't want get rid of all the streets but every time i upgrade a street to a road the traffic goes to a different street

what can happen if a mt runs over 100% or even 200% for too long

lol if traffic is gridlocked 4 both surface roadways n mass transit... i don't know of any definite [non-cheating] ways to relieve it. i would try to make a new job center closer to housing, away from the congested area and with a better planned transportation infrastructure. hopefully some sims would go to work there instead of trying 2 push thru the traffic mess.

for your situation, a picture [or at least a description of the city] would b nice. if it's a dense downtown or industrial park, there's not much u can do without destroying. if allllll of those commuters r just traveling thru that area and not working there, u could create a bypass around the area [permitting that ur traffic simulator makes the sims smart enuff]

hmmm 4 upgrading and traffic just moves away to another street, and the above paragraph, u mite wanna get a plugin that has improved pathfinding [or tweak the plugin if u alrdy have one]

i haven't heard of that shift 0 thing [just shift in removing autostreets] and also 4 having way too much congestion can cause abondonment from long commute
