hi there i will split it into 3 zips that means 3 emails it wouldnt send as a whole file what you will have to do is make a folder called berlin and unzip them to that folder bear with me please

It's not a critical file, anyway. The key question is, does the installation install anything critical after that file. Because if it stops there, you won't get anything installed after it.

it will work i have had custom made regions sent to my email the same way and i have played them the same as the others but yes i have to agree with bones about the rest of the installation but yes i would also give this aga b4 giving up number 1 sent number 2 sent

Its stops at the D:\Regions\Berlin\City - New City (9).sc4 and asks me to either retry or cancel, also where shall i put those files you gave me jaw

Its saying the files are waiting to be written to the cd , but it cant see a way to write them

into the file berlin that i said for u to make and then when u have put them in in the order from one to three drop the file into your simcity 4 region file in my documents right i have had to do it to 4 zips but it will be ok i have done this b4

:/ im installing the game at the mo, so there isnt a region file, the disk is just damaged =s, and it wont let me write the files onto the cd, what should i do

i think there are some programs that can or might do a repair backup of your disk not sure if this helps or maybe explore the disk and try installing bit by bit.

anyway sorry couldnt b more help i am going bed now here in uk its 1am and i am knackered lol nite nite

The disk is damaged? Like scratched? if not then I know why files aren't being installed correctly. Sometimes open applications can disturb the installation. Spyware protection and virus protection do the worst. I missed like 2 files because the applications were disturbing my installation so i went to task manager (CTRL+ALT+DELETE) then process, then i closed some apps (make sure not to close System ones etc) and i reinstalled and walah! 100%

It's also possible that the "SafeDisc" copy protection they put on the CD is interfering with a good read. You can use any CD copying program (such as the one that came with your CD burner) to make a copy of disc 2 (that's the disk that is copy-protected). You won't be able to use the copy to play the game, but you can install from it just fine. Once you have it installed, then use the original disc2 when it asks for it.

Of course, if you can't copy the disc, then it's likely damaged beyond repair.
