Demand Crisis

I have a major problem, regionwide. There is absolutely no commercial demand, in fact in all my cities it is completely in the negatives. I have no idea what's causing it. I've tried creating new cities of all sorts, adding industrial, etc. I've had this problem before so I just made a new region but here it is again. I don't think it has to do with cap relief, because even with building airports and convention centers there is just no demand. People are losing jobs like crazy and I've already lost about 100,000 people from my region because of this. Please help

Hmmm...if your really desperate, search Plopinator 9000 in the exchange. it works like wonders.

Commercial demand, other than C$, is usually preceeded by educated Sims.  What is your education level?  Take a look at your education display.  Some of it, at least, should be green.

I don't think education has anything to do with it. My cities range from 60 to extremely high EQs.

It's regionwide. Suddenly, in cities where there used to be tons of commercial demand, all of it has hit rock bottom. I can occasionally get CS$ but not enough to supply my towns with jobs. My cities had towering skyscrapers and now they are ghost towns of dilapidated buildings...

I've lowered taxes to 0. Nothing. Given incentives. Nothing. Created new cities - can't; no jobs.

I obliterated the city with the largest commercial population in the region. Still no rise.

Save your regions and plugins folders to the desktop and try a reinstall.
