I just started SC4 today after a very long time. During this time, I used to download and install plugins into my folder regularly from this website.

Today, when I started and played my game, I noticed that Cycledogg's Terrain Mod was not loading and I had the default Maxis land texture instead. When I laid trees in God-Mode, the Cycledogg trees were coming though. Also I noticed that most of the plugins are available in the game, but the Roads section has gone completely blank. Only the four default buttons were there. Looks like NAM is not loading either.

Could this be possible because of a certain downloaded plugin? Some of the important mods like NAM and Cycledogg's Terrain Mod are placed in my Program Files\Simcity 4\Plugins folder instead of the My Documents\Simcity 4\Plugins folder. Could it be possible that the game loaded only the My Documents plugins and not the Program Files one.

    Please Help and Advice!

You should place all plugins in your My Documents\Simcity 4\Plugins folder unless the readme tells you specifically otherwise.

Hope this helps and welcome back!

Almost 99% of my Plugins are in the My Documents folder. Just a select few (mods only) have been installed in the Program Files folder. This is, so that in case I am not happy with a particular mod, I can easily remove it without searching much.

Also, this problem never occurred before. I have done this divide policy for a very long time. It's just recently cropped up.
