Hey everyone. Now as big Sim City fans I'm sure you have all seen City life and its fantastic looking screens.
I'm writing this for a few reasons, one is to warn you that there is a small problem with some of the games refusing to load. It supposedly a Nvidia Geeforce MX440 graphics card that the game doesnt like, so you will have to wait for an update.
Another is to ask:
Its a city game right? Does this site have any plans for it?
Now I know you may all mumble, SIMtropolis, but its a Simulation game.
Its all there, its got its own editor built in, it allows you to create and import maps and building (I've even heard you can import the buildings from other games).
Modd squad, BATing, Map making,  tweaks, full 3D. I'd like to start a petition to Dirk (if he can of course) to implement City Life into Simtopolis.
If you want to support this: Post and give a few words as to why you want it.
If you are against it, please be constructive as to why you dont want it.
Also, I'll add a poll you can use.

I haven't played City Life yet so I don't really have any reason to want it on Simtropolis, but I have nothing against having it on here either. So I am indifferent.

But I would like to point out the very very bottom of this site. Usually that area is reserved for some sort of copyright statement, but the owner of this site has chosen to write "Simtropolis is a non-commercial fansite for Maxis's SimCity 4." Just something to point out when talking about including other games.

There are topics about this game spread out all across this website. However, thanks for the warning.

@thesonofgray: I find that you have a tendency to discriminate. You realize that all Dirk has to do is change it, right? No problem; Change isn't impossible.

On to the original topic. Sounds okay, and I think it's a good thing. Plus, if custom buildings can be made for it, then that would be even better (if I had the game! 3.gif)!

BTW:

Now I know you may all mumble, SIMtropolis, but its a Simulation game.quote>

You might want to rephrase that to make it sound better. Perhaps "Now I know you may mumble 'the site is a SIM site (SIMtropolis), but it still deals with SIMulation people," or something like that.

Everybody DOES realize that we have threads about City Life already, right?  One about whether to add it to ST is in SimTropolis Related.  A demo, a couple of reviews, and a couple of CL city journals are in Gaming Talk.  I'm probably even missing other discussions around here.

As such, I am...closing the thread and keeping it Off-Topic so that it can read so that interested members can browse where they please.
