Installing SC4 Deluxe on External Hard Drive

This past winter I had to uninstall SC4 and archive all my downloaded plugins to backup disks to free up several gigs of storage on my hard drive. Since then, I have bought an external (250 Gb) hard drive that stays connected to my desktop about 99.95% of the time. I was wondering if it is possible to install SC4 onto the external hard drive, F:\ - instead of the usual internal hard drive, C:\

The external hard drive is connected on a IEEE 1394 Firewire connection and has a plenty fast enough connection to capture uncompressed video from digital video cameras. (Video editing was the reasion why I bought an external HD) .Will this create problems with installing, mostly along licensing/registering the game?

I see no issues with this, as long as the external is setup and accessed as a normal harddrive, you should be able to install sc4 and play it (as long as all your drivers are compatible esp the video and firewire drivers, which they should be)

However, if you want your related files that normally go into the My Documents folder on that drive too, you have to move the whole My Documents folder over there as well,  Right click on the My Documents icon on your desktop and follow you nose.
