Weird prop thing

In one of my long established cities, my university and country club started appearing with the building and textures (think that's what they're called. Not a BATter) only. The fences, trees, tennis courts, etc aren't there. The ones in my other cities are fine. Any ideas? (No viruses. Just checked again. And yeah, I know, I could probably bulldoze them and see if they come back.) Just wondering if anyone has any ideas. Things like this happen from time to time. I've reopened the city several times...still the same. Everything else is fine, btw. It IS on a large tile, if that makes a difference. I know they run/scroll slower.

it could be that one of your probs is interfearing with the textures of the building. if you have any added modds or props..

The other problem could be swap space.  Make sure your initial virtual memory is set to 3 x RAM Size or 4095 whichever is less and the maximum to 4095.  To do this, you must set it manually.

Thanks, Moose. I always wondered what the formula was for determining virtual memory. Mine is around 1800, but I have 768 RAM. I'll resize it and see how it works. I only see one setting on my comp, though, not an upper and lower limit. I'll try to look around for it.

If you are running XP right click on the My Computer Icon on your desktop, choose properties then go to advanced.  From there, do with your hands what your mind finds to do.

Thanx again! Looking there, it was 1152/2300, which probablly is really low. I'm trying 2400/4095. May help with some other apps too. I have several appraisal and RE apps that have been running slow and spotty as of late. Appreciate the insight.
