I have downloaded some props and added them to my lot editor.  I need to know where I can find them.  One of the lots in the loteditor is 0xac5918oc APM-c$$$01.   I downloaded it once and I have it listed multiple times.  How can I remove these.  I have looked in the plugin folder and can't find it.

When you say you added them to your lot editor, do you mean you unzipped the files and put them in your MyDocuments/...SimCity 4/Plugins/? Once you have done this they should be available in your lot editor by loading a lot you want to modify, then going to the props tab. Click the Add Item button to see the props available.

The name 0xac5918oc APM-c$$$01 appearing in the lot editor's list of lots may not be the same as the file name in your plugins folder, so you may be looking for a different file name. I assume you have searched your plugins folder for any files with APM in the name? It may be a creator's code but I don't know who off the top of my head. You could also try searching for the id code ac5918oc in your plugins folder. I'm not sure why the lot is appearing multiple times though.

Thanks for the answer, but to no vail can I find it.  The lots are running from APM Co$$$ 01 thru 48.  Then the second runs APM CO$$ 01 thru 47. then APM CO $$$ 01 thru 31 then same $$ 01 thru 35.  then when I get to the bottom of list they are APM_IH 01 thru 26 these are all Custom Lots are they the new releases from Simtrop?

Ok, I think I am not understanding your question. Do you mean you have downloaded something somewhere and now unwanted lots are appearing in the list of lots to open in the Lot Editor? Or do you mean that you have downloaded some props that you want to put on lots but you can't find them in the LE prop list?

The fact that there are so many lots listed in your second post leads me to believe you may have downloaded some kind of mod designed to replace either the ingame lots, or overide a large number of custom lots, or some big pack of lots. The files are probably in one of your plugins folders as a single .dat file somewhere.

    Some ideas:

    - Have you checked both your MyDocuments/.../ Plugins, and your Programs/.../Plugins folders for the unwanted items?

    - Do you remember downloading any mods lately that change the behaviour of large numbers of growables, eg a commercial multiplier or indudustry multiplier mod, or a stage limit mod

    - Have you downloaded lately any large lot sets that come in one pack eg a theme pack or mega pack or a blank lot set or a plop mod, SimMars etc?

    - Have you downloaded any mod from the forums here or the modds and download page (as opposed to the STEX)

    - Do you only download from Simtropolis or do you download from other sites eg Sims Forum, SimCity Central, the official website etc. It may have come from one of those websites.

They look like they may be part of a very large set that you have downloaded as a mod or pack at some point.

Like I said earlier, I don't recognise the APM code, and I don't have any of these items in my own folder or Lot Editor. If you download from sites other than Simtropolis they may have come from one of these other sites. Or it may be a creator or mod from here that I have not downloaded (there are lots of different creators here who upload independently)

Can you post a picture of the Lot Editor screen where you are seeing these lots listed (preferably with one of them open in the LE) as I'm a bit stuck now to identify where they may have come from. A picture where there lot that is listed multiple times is shown would probably be helpful

You may need to go through your download history to identify them, or remove some of your plugins progressively to see if they disappear. That might also help to locate the items.

Thanks a lot.  That ends my problem with that I went thru ever one of the files in my plugin folder and found the one that I didn't want.  Attached is the folder that holds them.  It really screw's up the loteditor, makes all the lots as customs.  Thanks for the help.  I really appreciate all the help from you and Simtropolis.  Simtropolis Rules.   Thanks for your time.  They were called Plugin_Plopmodd_Chicago, Houston and four others.  But I got them out.

Good to hear you have sorted the problem out, and thanks for letting us know what the solution was. It looks like it may have been one of the plop mods from the modds and downloads section.

I find the SC4 Startup Manager helps control this type of difficulty. I use the SUM to create a development profile and in it I put only the props and lots that I think I might need when I'm lot building. When I want to use the Lot Editor I just load that profile up. When I want to play the game again I load the profile for the region and all my game play plugins are back in place.

If you are interested, the information thread for the Startup Manage can be found here: https://www.simtropolis.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=121&threadid=70989
