What do you think of different cultures? What's the first word that comes to your mind when you hear "Japan", "UK",  "Australia", etc.?

Well, it was a survey on a site I read not too long ago, and I though I'd bring it up. Here's a list  of statistics for what people in the US think when they hear one of the examples I listed above... (I should note that many of these percents, as N_O Body would say, are most likely 2% off )

(Survey of 100 people per each country category)

Japan: 94%"Too male-oriented" - Sorry, not true.  That was the past. It's now a 50-50 (unfortunatly the stereotyping still exists with women).

91% "Hentai" - Jeezafaloo, hentai!? Japan is no way centered around hentai. Nope. Nada. Zip. Zilch. Just adult entertainment.

58% "Public Baths" - Funny, apparently not many people can't throw a qualm about a bath in public lol.

35% "Overall behavior" - People say that's its wrong for it to be ok to insult (it's actually recommending, heh heh ) people. Sumos, manners, sitting on the floor to eat... so?

Britain: 89% "Accent" - "Tally hoe!" "Eh chuck?" Mama mia now that'sa biga stereotypa!

89% "Too medival" - So what?? What's wrong with Castles?? They look really nice. What's next? The Wall of China?  I guess people just want "modern" now.

70% "Tiny place" - Urrr.... oook. Yeah, it may be smaller than other countries, but does that even matter?

64% "Behavior" - Pitifully ridiculus stereotype if you ask me.

Australia:  97% "Accent" - Once, again, now that'sa biga stereotypa!!

54% "Naming" - So what if you give someone the name "Parker Roush"? It's not like you're naming them "Google Wooblyoo"

52% "Weather" - What? Can't handle the heat? Then get out of the kitchen!

8% "It smells bad there" -
