Looks better than I originally thought. I think I'll have to give it a try.

Although they could look far better, they don't look too bad. The biggest problem is there is a lack of trees in comparision to SC4. I'm hoping that not requiring streets to be built on 45-degree angles will add to the realism.

Do you know off the top of your head how many models for single-family houses there are? It does not look like there is much variety. I guess the only way to go in Suburbia is towards Levittown's cookie-cutterness.

I Made The houses Repititive on Purpose you know...

The Blue Collars (Social Group) Have The BEST Suburban houses so i made the area for Blue Collars. And Hence There Name, the houses have a tint of Blueness.

AND Not any longer it won't:

puce.gif Real-time 3D that gives you unheard-of freedom for the City Builder genre: with 360° camera rotation, zooming, and pivoting, you can choose the view that serves your needs best.

puce.gif A 3D engine that lets you zoom in on the heart of your city to observe its inhabitants or enlarge your view to survey your megalopolis.

puce.gif Twenty predefined 3D maps to create your city with, and the possibility of creating your own maps with City Life’s 3D map editors and scripts.

puce.gif Over 150 buildings and personalizations that can be constructed

puce.gif Six different neighborhoods to manage, each with their own ambitions and requirements (jobs, leisure activities, housing, etc.)

puce.gif Total freedom of construction: choose from among hundreds of buildings, place the different elements wherever you wish, and build highway systems within and around the city.

puce.gif Elaborately detailed graphics using the latest special effects, including cubic reflection on the windows of your buildings, dynamic shadows, real-time mirroring effects on the water, control of the cycle of day and night, moving clouds and fog, movement of trees in the wind, etc.

puce.gif Over 100 different animations and over 40 non-playable characters

puce.gif Construction in real 3D: determine the position and orientation of all your buildings according to the terrain of the map. The layout of your buildings will be a deciding factor in the growth of your city.

    puce.gif Dynamic 3D audio environments

    see in bold

But look at this DETAIL: almost REAL

The details great...Just think though, ten years from now, we'll look back on that and it will look like SC2K in comparison...3d graphics are advancing so much...the future is great for gaming.

This does look better than I thought, if I had Windows I would certainly try it out. Maybe they will make a demo for Mac.
