A Question About Downloading....

I have had this game for awhile and I really enjoy it.  But when I downloaded one of the park things from the STEX, you could select a type of park and make it and the paths of the park dont appear..  Its like the download didnt work....It has happened with other buildings I've downloaded also, they don't appear when I click to build them....What am I doing wrong?

There's surely a readme file included with these uploads. They are there to .......well.....let's say, ....read.....lol

The readme files contain the info of the missing props that you need to see everything on the downloaded lot.

You also need the original propfiles from the Simcity.ea.com site, but you have to be registered there first.

Try downloading the "Buildings as Props" and "Rush Hour Buildings as Props" downloads from the Lot Editor page of the SC4 website, you have to be product registered and logged in to see these downloads. Also, if files come with ReadMe's, always read them as they contain useful information on what files you need to see the lot properly.

I downloaded the Props for Rush Hour and Sim City 4, and it still didn't work.When you download them, where do you put them....in the Sim CIty 4 Plugins folder? Or where?

You shoul read this thread it's about Folder Organization for your Plugins is very helpful, also whe you download a file from the STEX, in the window that pops-up where you can read the file description also says the "Dependecies" for the specific file
