I've understood they are three types of canals (after their creators) and i would like to be able to build these canals : can somebody give me a link?

Well Simgoober's and Pegasus canals are on STEX, Oppies can be found on SimCityCentral. On Pegasus' site there are few additions to his canals which isn't found on STEX. On both SimCityCentral and Pegasus's site you need to be registered to be able to download.

Most of the BSC Canals, made primarily by simgoober, are available here.

The PEG Canals base set is available here and the rest of PEG's canal stuff is available here.

Oppie's canals are primarily available at SimCityCentral but the base set is available on ST here.  Note that you will have to register with SimCityCentral in order to download from there.

Now, before anyone else does, I have to remind you that a simple search on the STEX for "Canals" would have turned up these.
