How to make cars actually display running across TE lots?

Using SC4TOOL, I have transit enabled lots... Fine.

BUT...  How do you make cars and such actually show up as driving across such lots?  All I see is a car enter the lot, disappear, and then reappear on the other side of the lot.

It is like the road is recognized... sorta.

I build the appropriate road across the lot.

Is there a detailed transit enabling tutorial, FAQ, or document availble to fully explain the entire process using SC4TOOL?

You will need to set the Transit Switch Point property as needed (see the forums for instructions on how to format this property). Some of the switchings set by the SC5Tool (the "default" ones) will need to be removed. This property basically allows you what through traffic and trafffic switchings are allowed. So if your lot has a road running through in the NS direction, the Transit Switch Point property should not contain from and to "All Sides" switchings for road traffic (pedestrian, car, bus, freight), limit it to NS only. Also examine the traffic map (paths), it can reveal a a lot. The bad thing is that you cannot specify which specific tiles allow traffic switchings, only the sides.

Also a nonzero (but small) value for the Transit Switch Cost property could help.
