Zune 4, 8, 80 will be released on November 13th, 2007. This is the second generation following the release of the red and pink Zune's and the Halo 3 Zune (which looks really cool ) The come in 4gb, 8 gb and now an 80 gb! The black zune on the left is the 80 gb and the smaller ones are 4 and 8. I think the 4 and the 8 is a good idea, but I would never buy them because I have 5 times are much music as that. New features include: The newest additions are smaller 4gb and 8gb players with flash memory with sport video playback and wireless functionality. They are priced at $149 -4gb and $199 -8gb. ($250 for 80) Currently the small Zunes come in red, pink, green, and black. An updated hard drive model will have 80GB of storage and come in black at launch. New Zunes are due to release around November 13th. New Wi-Fi features will include wireless sync with PC. Shared songs will no longer have a 3 day limit for use, but the 3 play rule remains in effect. Photos as usual have no restrictions at all when shared Zune to Zune. To improve on “the social” online Zune Cards will be introduced. Each card can be personalized based on unique interests. Zunecasts (podcasts) are coming to the Zune marketplace along with video content. TV shows recorded on Windows Media Center can also be synced up with the Zune devices. Found at TechnologyMadness.com. There is a great video to show you the new features. They have added the "swipe" which I think is brilliant and I'm hoping it won't be as difficult as the i-pod swivle thing (no offense, I cannot use that thing) here is a picture with a three versions: 4/8 on the left, 80 in the middle and the regular 30 on the right. Long live the Zune!

Brad- Wow, that was great! After looking at the previous pages I realize that your poems remind me a lot of The Used. Maybe it is just me... But every time I think of you I think of The Used. So maybe it is just my mind thinking that your poems sound like Bert's song writing. I would like to commend you for putting such personal ideas and thoughts into your poems. It's very brave of you to just dump all of these personal poems for everyone to read. I could never do that. You've covered a lot of emotions like anger or being melancholy for example But for some constructive criticism... I think that your poems sounds very "plain". I really don't mean that in a bad way. I know I could never make a poem as great as yours. I've read other poems and although yours stick out with the exact emotion you are feeling I just feel like the way you write is very bland. This is probably why I think your writing sounds like Bert's song writing. Maybe it is just the idea of writing a song. I just suggest spicing it up a bit. How you will do that, I have no idea I do really enjoy reading your poems and I would love to read more! -Ellie

I voted 'other'. What about Weeds? After a 8 month break from the final episode of Season 2 where Nancy had six guns to her head! Come on, now that's a cliff hanger! Season 3 is awesome! And Gossip Girl was good but it's only if you read the whole series -Ellie

hm, I've always wanted a Wii... I like the black one. Silver and white are cool too. red isn't that bad but the green looks like Mint Chocolate phone, yuck. I remember when the DS came out with new colors, black and pink. I had bought my white DS Lite and then two weeks later the new colors came out. I was so angry because I remember telling my little brother that I wished they had a black one! very cool though. -Ellie

the-one-that-used-to-be-GingerBlokey: I think it looks great! It's different obviously, but it's not too drastic. & very cute Brad. Chemically straightening your hair isn't a bad idea. It costs a crap load of money though Here's a picture of me dancing in the street I had a lot of fun -Ellie

manticorefan: Thanks! I will keep posting, don't worry! Twiggy: Haha thanks! Strange I know I wrote this story awhile ago and the other day I saw a cricket on the field hockey field and it reminded me of my story that I completely forgot about! Vandy: Thanks a bunch! I'm glad you enjoyed reading it. You guys are the only ones I've shown it too. But, I agree about your constructive critisism. I will sit down and write and leave the story alone for awhile then come back and I feel like the piece is very choppy and doesn't flow. Thanks though! Thanks everyone. I will pop in everyone once in awhile to read and comment. Maybe post some more stories. Thanks for the warm welcome! -Ellie

hey guys. I've never posted here, but I have kept up with the thread and I enjoy reading everyone's writing. It's always nice to read poems because I know I can't do that Finally got some nerve to post something I have written. It's nothing special, just a short story. enjoy. He walked along the path in the crisp autumn air. The other people that walked more quickly were wearing their brand new scarves and thin jackets. He walked slowly taking light steps against the smooth pavement. The wind blew against his rough brown beard that needed to be trimmed. The wind moved his wavy locks of hair into his face getting tangled in his eyelashes. The air was cold but he only felt warm in his paint covered shorts and sandals. He felt a strange feeling of perfection. He knew perfection could exist, but never so young. Leaves blew across the sidewalk beneath his feet. His eyes blurred and he blinked only to find the pathway empty and the leaves still. Above the hill he found a light shining through the trees onto the fresh yellow leaves that lay suddenly still. The light reflecting off the leaves was golden. He blinked again; the light was still there. He looked around but no one was there, not even the people that were walking in front of him earlier. He stood dumb struck. Nothing was moving and the wind stopped blowing. His brain was playing tricks on him he thought. But then, he had a sudden urge to run up the steep hill to see where the light was coming from. He knew it was only the trees, but something about the presence of this golden light gave him that strange feeling of perfection again. His feet moved with hesitation but soon he realized that he was taking longer strides up the hill. His brain was racing, but the thought weren’t clear. Still moving quickly, he heard a sound. To his right was a patch of grass covered by bright colored leaves. He stopped, knelt down and searched through the leaves to find a lonely cricket. He stared at the brown cricket and his mind raced with thoughts of the cricket’s life. He was born and raised by his lovely mother. He was never alone; his sisters were always close by. He never left the one empty patch of grass for his safety. He woke up one early morning to find himself alone. He searched for his mother and sisters but he knew that they must have left hours ago. He knew it was time to leave the empty patch to find a new family. He hopped with hesitation. He never realized how tall the blades of grass looked and how dangerous the bumpy dirt could be. He still had hope that along his path he would find his sisters with a new family that he could possibly join. He found himself days later hiding underneath something dark behind multiple blades of grass. A sudden burst of light came from above and a burst of adrenaline went to his heart. He knew something or someone was here to take him away and bring him to a better place filled with many people with loving hearts. He still knelt there staring at the cricket. The cricket’s story wiped away that pure sense of perfection. His heart dropped and his eyes opened widely. He fell abruptly on to his back on the patch of grass. He laid there stone cold staring at the tops of the trees into the dull grey sky. His eyes blurred and he blinked to find a helping hand in front of his face. “Excuse my sir, are you okay?” His wide eyes stared at the hand. He found enough energy to turn his head towards the voice. The man had short dark hair and his big brown eyes were staring at him with care. He grabbed his hand and was lifted up straight. He heard the man saying something about a possible head injury but he was only concerned about the golden light. It had disappeared. The leaves were moving and the busy people walked by. He looked down, the cricket was gone. He stood up and the weight on his feet was unbelievable. He wanted to run up the hill to see if the light was still there when he remembered he had forgot to say thank you. He turned around to the man, but something was blinding him. The light reflected off of the man’s golden necklace into his eyes. He blinked and rubbed his eyes but when he opened them the man was gone. He thought nothing of it and turned around. He made his way up the hill slowly and enjoyed the sharp noises of the crickets chirping in the background. I'll think about posting some more. But it all depends on whether or not I have enough courage to do it -Ellie

Tasering was a little much.... But the kid was putting on a show really. I think he was being rude, but was it really necessary to taser him? The cops just could have pulled him out of the speech, use force but not that much force! But, I'm not a cop, so I don't know the rules. And I don't think this is a freedom of speech issue, I think it was just the kid being disrespectful. -Ellie

Well, there are a ton of new games coming out soon and even though ST is for SC4, we can expand! Cities Unlimited, Sim City Societies, The Sims 3. If you want ST to be less of "A Tired Brand" then be more active in the new games! Although you may not like some of them, you can always put your input into the forums. Sometimes members forget that some forums exist so try your best to put some more effort into checking them out. For example, you can always join a thread about TS3 here that I just made. Plus, try new things! Create a City Journal or Sim Diary or try batting for the first time. Everything counts And I do not think we need a complete redesign. That takes a lot of time, and we just had one not to long ago. Dirk's a busy guy Okay, just my input! -Ellie

I voted Christian. On the note of Richard Dawkin's, I have read "The God Delusion". Although I don't agree with most of what he says, I was curious and it is very well written! I suggest that everyone reads no matter what religion, it's a good read. -Ellie EDIT: "religious crap" Let's not offend anyone.

Well... As you all might know, I hate ipods with a passion. Don't ask why, I will not explain. But, the touch idea is cool. Touch screens in general are cool, like Nintendo DS'. And a built in music store sounds pretty darn convenient. I won't buy one of course, or I'll just wait for Microsoft to make one
