I also live in the 410. I travel up to Baltimore a lot to see concerts. It really scares me to think about that many murders but it's even harder to think about the reason behind them. There is also a large amount of homeless in Baltimore and whenever I go up there I always feel terrible and end up giving away all of my money. I wonder how many of these murders involve the homeless? I know this is kind of gross to think about, but a lot of homeless get hit by cars.... or die from the cold....

I heard about this on the radio and the first thing I said was, "Oh no! He had great hair!" lol, Also, the radio station played some random guy playing an acoustic version of Cum on feel the Noize. It was great, actually. Quite enjoyable. RIP.

Yeah, this is really sad. Although I do not like the band, I am friends with an organization called "To Write Love on Her Arms" on myspace and they are closely related to the band so they posted a bulletin about his death. I actually went to their myspace page for the first time and I never realized how big of a fanbase they have! Also, TWLOHA said that Hawthorne Heights blog about his death is the most popular blog in myspace history. RIP.

I like to give more than I like to receive. I've already planned out most of the gifts for my family and a few of my close friends. Some of them I have to order of the internet, which I better do early, just in case. I always buy my brothers silly gifts that they enjoy. I know my grandma bought me some sweaters and I asked for books from my parents. I just like the atmosphere of Christmas more than I like opening gifts. -Ellie Oh, and I'd love to get a Zune 2.0 (lol, firebird ) but it's more satisfying if I save my money up for that.

Well, it is not raining but it sure is cold. After work today(I didnt have school today) I fell sick quickly. I just took a 2 hour nap in my freezer-box of a room. I was shivering the whole time. I think I was even shivering while I was sleeping. Maybe I'll get a day off...?

Last friday Ean (eastwinn on ST) went to his schools halloween dance. He needed a costume so I dressed him in my clothes (my pants too ) and made him into an emo. I had fun doing his make-up and such. Ignore the little glasses he is wearing. Those are random glasses my older brother welded for me. But doesn't he look great?! I really had fun doing that even though it took me forever. -Ellie

Hey guys Brad- Oh, I love the first one! I really like "I could enslave myself / and stare into the mirror / But I'll rip my sense out / and write another / Tragic death note" And the line "I'm not ready to feel alone" feels familiar. I do like the second poem. I like the sense of imagery in the first few stanzas. While I reading it I really felt like I was on the street alone. Good job Guess what?! Well, I found some of my poetry hidden inside an old journal. These two are the best two I've done. I did them both for school projects, but I put my heart into them. Tell me what you think of them. If you think they are terrible then that's okay because I'm obviously not into poetry Tight Knits (May 2006) My soft white blanket. I was so little to realize how important it was. Every wash the satin trim would rip off a little more. It would lie under my head I could smell the sweet lavender my mom used in the wash. The day came, when I had to leave it at home. I put it in my backpack, and at lunch I looked to see if it was still there. Life was incomplete without it. The day I left it behind my doll house I cried in bed, wishing to feel its tight knits. Everyday, The white color would get darker, turning into a cream color like the shells I would collect. Every knit was a thousand memories keeping the dearest to my head as I sleep, was a night without disruptions. But as I got older, my blanket stayed inside my closet. Every once and awhile, I search for that cream color, just to feel its tight knits. Young Memories (October 2006) I wish I could hear your voice again and listen to your laugh, just like when we were young. I would chase you around just to see you smile. Now I've gone far from you. And late at night I stare at that newspaper clipping, that obituary I regret I cut out. To imagine you cry makes our young memories disappear. ~In loving memory of a childhood friend. That's all. Brad- regarding your question on 10/6.. haha sorry, I'm late! Sometimes I feel like your poems are bland because of your vocabulary. Don't get me wrong, I have terrible vocabulary but I know that you'll writing will improve as you get older because your vocab is improving. (this is something I need to work on as well, haha) About your newest poem "Poise without Poison"... I really liked it! I took me a few reads to understand, but I still don't understand the "red skin". Care to explain? or is this for us to figure out I really want to praise you on your catchy and witty phrases you use throughout your poems. It really draws someone into your writing, especially if it's a song! I seem to be attracted to songs that have a witty phrase used throughout. I guess this is why when I read your songs I immediately think of The Used. For example, "Liar, liar pants on fire" or "take take take take take take away!". Just little catchy sayings like that really grab a reader, or in this cause listener Keep it up Brad And my writing... well, I have lots I'm just scared to show them -Ellie

I live on a farm and we are growing pumpkins for the first time this year. You can see one of farms behind me. I have a few more that I wanted to show but imageshack is being a pain so maybe later when imageshack wants to be nice to me -Ellie

During my freshman year I took a World History course and every quarter the class would take a field trip to DC to visit a museum and go to a restaurant. The first quarter we learned about India and China. So we went to one of the various museums in DC and headed over to a Indian Cuisine restaurant. I fell in love. It was sooo good. I love spicy food and I can eat all the time. The other people in my class were not to happy with the way it tasted. Second quarter we learned about Africa! My favorite! So we headed down to DC to (my personal favorite) museum. It was awesome because some of the artwork was made out of gallon bottles or random metal pieces. Anyway, we went to an ethopian restaurant which was really cool! You sat on these little stools around a table that seated 6 or so. Everyone got bread that you dipped into whatever pile of food you wanted. The food was colorful and looked delicious but I didn't like the bread so I didn't eat much. My dad works with two guys from India and they came over for six weeks in the winter. The would cook the most amazing soup. It will a little too spicy for the rest of the family but I was all over it! And I ate left overs the next day The third quarter we learned about the Middle East. We went to a Pakistan Cuisine restaurant and I loved it. It tasted a lot like the Indian food because they use a lot of the same spices. I ate this absolutely amazing rice with raisons in it. I ate it then I figured out there was lamb tucked in it That's okay, it was yummy! Fourth quarter we learned about the Caribbean and South America. Sadly we did not have a field trip but we did have a guest speaker who brought us yummy tea from Peru I really enjoy trying new foods and I'm pretty much up for anything! -Ellie
