Gnrrrrrrr I envy you like crazy XD Where are youseeing them?quote>Yeah I am They are on tour with The Devil Wears Prada so I'll be seeing them on February 24th in Washinton DC. I use to be a big fan of Silverstein, but kinda fell out of that phase (though, a little excited to see them ) and From First to Last... ehh, not a big fan but I haven't given them a proper listen. The tour actually goes through Canada with 12 shows. I don't know my Canadian geography very well, but check out either bands myspace page for the dates and locations close to you. It'll be a good show

If she claims demons killed them, she might want to realize that there were strangle makes and stab wounds... Everyone at school has been talking about this because DC isn't too far away. Someone asked me the other day, "Did you hear about the demonic lady that kept rotting dead bodies in her attic?!" Now I know... This is sad that those children had to have such a short life and were killed. -Ellie

hey guys I haven't posted much writing in here so I decided to post my list of favorite bands of 2007. I worked a long time on this, and I posted it on myspace as well. I thought this may be an interest to some of you that like rock music (brad ) Also, please ignore all of the grammar and spelling issues. I was really anxious to post this, so I have barely been through it. I hope you enjoy it -Ellie Ellie’s Favorite Bands of 2007 (in no particular order) January 2, 2008 Brand New I became highly addicted to their album The Devil and God are Raging Inside of Me in early 2007 because of its catchy and mysteriously relating lyrics. I had never heard any Brand New before, but I never gave them a chance because I thought they were too “pop” for me. Their newest album released in 2006, The Devil and God are Raging Inside of Me was everything but pop. For quite sometime I was stuck on the first four tracks. Jesse Lacey sings in a quiet voice and almost mumbles which is mesmerizing. A good quiet minute into the first song, Sowing Season, Jesse starts to scream. Not a piercing scream you would hear in the typical new age screamo band, but a scream of almost desperation. I was immediately hooked on the album. After the first few months of owning the album, I listened to all the songs in depth. My favorite song then and now is Luca. This song is beautifully made and every time it comes on I feel the need to start singing. Both Jesse’s lyrics and the music in the background are soft but by the middle of the song Jesse screams “Where’ve you been?” and the music picks up. I soon learned how wonderful their early album, Déjà Entendu, was. It was a little more upbeat than their newest album, but the lyrics were just as sincere. I had the privilege of seeing Brand New live on December 2, 2007. From now on whenever they come to town, I will drop all my plans to see them. The set was humble compared to the opening band, Thrice. They had three dim lights shining onto stage. They didn’t have any computers or special gadgets on stage, just good old guitar, bass and drums. Their music isn’t crazy enough for a most pit, but it is crazy enough to make people cry. There was one guy in the front row crying while they were playing Limousine. Brand New was winding down to the end of their tour but, I knew they would give a spectacular performance. They didn’t seem worn out at all. Between guitarist Vincent Accadi’s eccentric singing and him lying on the ground still playing during on song, Jesse cracked a smile at the very large crowd that filled UMBC’s field house. The Chariot I was extremely excited when I picked up The Chariot’s Everything is Alive, Everything is Breathing, Nothing is Dead and Nothing is Bleeding because I had listened to my fair share of Norma Jean before realizing tha

It has a name but I forget what it is. quote>Oh, it's the select button. It releases star power as well. It helps in certain situations that i do not know of Especially if you can't get the hang of tilting the guitar up. And, I'm quite proud of Eastwinn and his log guitar.

I'm not much of a CJer anymore, but because you constantly comment on my Sim Diary, I thought I would return a favor. Your CJ's have improved by a millon percent and your mosaics are gorgeous! (though you've already heard this from me once ) Keep it up! -Ellie -
So what did you get for Christmas 2007 ?
___idiotbox replied to Easy Bakes's topic in General Off-Topic
Books. 14 of them to be exact. And I've already read 2 of them haha. And a new backpack because my current one likes to dump all of my books on the ground when I'm walking. Quite embarrassing. I don't ask for much, so this was perfect. -
I hard a hard time picking just one favorite. So I narrowed it down to 8 mewithoutYou, Neutral Milk Hotel, Fear Before the March of Flames, Modest Mouse, Minus the Bear, (old) Norma Jean & Brand New oh, and good old Incubus

Starting and adding multiple bands to my "Bands I've Seen Live List". More to come in 2008 Other than that, I had a downright miserable year. It started bad and it will end bad. Hopefully next year is better. -Ellie

This does not surprise me coming from an Autistic man. When I was in middle school there were a hand full of Autistic children that were in a special program at school. The one child was so sensitive to sounds but could memorize anything put in front of him. One day, he drew me the most incredible drawing of Pluto and friends. Also, some bands I know have great musicians because some of the drummers or guitarists are Autistic. They memorize everything they play and never forget it. It's awesome -Ellie

I remember Jamie Lynn saying how she never wanted to follow her sisters foot steps. Well, Britney didn't get pregnant at 16 but she did get her kids taken away so, I'm sorry Jamie Lynn, but you'll probably end up like her. ew. Why am I wasting all of my precious energy talking about this family?
