I've been thinking about expanding the region from 6x18m to 10x22. Do you think I should do this?
-
Sorry I haven't updated, but I've had troubl with ST. West Los Angulo is coming soon, but in the meanwhile, does anyone have a tutorial for editing landmarks?
-

I'm a bit like you. When I first started, I enjoyed naming the streets more than anything else

There are 4 types of Interchange in this CJ 1) 4-level Stacks, seen in Compute and Currance, avaible from NAM package 2) Cloverleafs, seen in LAX . Standard 4-point intersection 3) T-Section, seen in various regions, standard 3-point intersection 4) Ortgonagal Cloverleaf, normal CL twisted. Part of NAM 97 people think I know too much about interchanges

How do I get big tall skyscrapers?
silvermac replied to -HITMAN-'s topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
Has anyone gotton any skyscrapers on a small map -
What is ANT, and how does ANT/NAM work
-
Lol, I like reading all you americans/canadians talk about your super highways. In britain, they're nearly all 3 lane. the biggest I've ever seen is the Dartford crossing, which is a 4 lane bridge, and 2 2-lane tunnels

Los Angulo is big and vast, So for anyone with poor senses of direction, and prone to getting lost, here is a street map you can use to find places in Los Angulo See ya later P.S. Could I request to any BATters out there a way to change the Hollywood sign to 'Ivywood'? Thanks

What I did this Sunday http://img408.imageshack.us/img408/7061/canofordiar1ab.jpg align=baseline> West Los Angulo update coming soon
-
East Los Angulo I know I promised Friday, but hey, games are always delayed. http://img100.imageshack.us/img100/8726/canofordiar0oi.jpg align=baseline> Note Los Angulo International. http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/2985/canofordiat2ns.jpg align=baseline> Nice lump of blue of the left now The title says East Los Angulo, but this covers all of Currance and Heimain Covering 4.8km2, and 40,000 residents, we begin As you leave Joules, and head into Currance, Apartment blocks come common. http://img455.imageshack.us/img455/9831/eastlosangulo19zm.jpg align=baseline> Head north, and they just get bigger http://img151.imageshack.us/img151/9061/eastlosangulo28gr.jpg align=baseline> On one side of the R25 is low-wealth, and the other is the poor. That's los Angulo for you As these areas are just small cities, I won't spend any extra time, however, I'll show you LAX before I leave. I used highway noise barriers for a security fence. http://img100.imageshack.us/img100/2979/lax19mar0611392533154pq.jpg align=baseline> And with this ends the pooper areas of Los Angulo. I need to buil up my population for the skyscrapers, so next time we'll be up north into a National Park, till then, Cia Nara.

Thanks. It's too late to update now, but by friday I will have finished East Los Angulo and posted
-
Problem Currently, I have the next city, Currance, built and in process of being made Simtropolis friendly, but if I were to post it, I'd have 6 updates on one page. So until we reach page 2, I'll keep Currance safe, and work on East Los Angulo. PS. I'm not just trying to get my post count up, I'm thinking back to how long it took me to load up New York (by ejc) on 56k dial-up
-
I've been limiting water in this region to keep it revelatly low-wealth

Mini-Update: It's my birthday today

The intersection has a few more trees http://img56.imageshack.us/img56/2326/joules48rj.jpg align=baseline> Joules tiny commercial area. Near the local skate park http://img76.imageshack.us/img76/8054/joules56ud.jpg align=baseline> A lot more trees laround the sunken highway interchange. The R34 leads to Envidea. http://img56.imageshack.us/img56/5063/joules65qp.jpg align=baseline> Time makes fools of use all. Well that's Joules. Next on my list is City 22-Currance. It's worth pointing out that the further we move away from Compute, the higher the standard of living. I'll finish on a few notes. 1) Joules are the unit of Energy, whilst Watts are the unit for power. 1 Watt=1 Joule/second 2) The pics may look similar, but Joules was a small city, compared to Compute and Ondlewood, which were medium

Anyone following my CJ will be annoyed, as I'm going to have to stop it until this becomes downable. Keep up the good work
-
PS Joules coming soon
-
I think the pictures speak for a CJ's true quality
-
Thanks I was worried people might be annoyed with such little progress

It looks good. Don't be harsh

Canofordia update 2.5 9-11) Geteai In between the cities of Los Angulo and San Tanmicro, is the Geteai Fault. The geteai fault is caused by the Pacifist and North Eaglian plates rubbing against each other in a transform fault. Technally, the plates move in the same direction, but the Pacifist moves at 8cm/year compared to the North Eaglian's 2cm/year. The geteai fault has caused many earthquakes, including San Tanmicro 1906, Kuji Loma 1989, and Northcliff 1994. In this region pic, you can see a 4km stretch. http://img71.imageshack.us/img71/8767/canofordiar8zm.jpg align=baseline> The fault starts at the Pacifist Ocean http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/5533/fault18mz.jpg align=baseline> And is surrounded by mountains when it leaves the CJ http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/1843/fault24kf.jpg align=baseline> That's all I can fit in, but the Geteai fault actully twists 90 degrees and up the San tanmicro Penisular, which causes the bay. Further north, it collides with the John te Suca plate, forming Mount St Emma's and the Siscade Range of Volcanoes strecthing to Lincon State. And that's the Fault. Next time, we return to the grungy Ghettos. http://img26.imageshack.us/img26/8154/todo16mt.jpg align=baseline>
