Mystery cat takes regular bus to the shops
Deathtoall replied to toxicpiano's topic in Current Events
I wish my cat was more exciting, she just eats and sleeps all day! I saw an article how about this cat woke these people up becuse it could smell carbon monoxide in the house and resulted in a fight between which is better, cat or dog. Until someone said, can it do the Hiemlich Manveour?( a dog actually did one) But anyway that cat is specially becuase it is white, i want to cross that cat's path! -
(cranks up rumour mill) Fords make the windscreen wiper motor,(a small but invaluable part) breakdown after 7 years. To expensive to fix, buy new car. Lol, rumours are everywhere. Go Toyota, great cheap, effcient cars.

Is it possible that solar flares that have been very reactive lately are inteferring with the bee's navigation systems just like GPS and mobile phones?( They rely on magnetic fields which are warped by solar flares. Some birds become confused after solar flares.) Yes, global warming could be a factor to, aswell as many other things.

The Official Global Warming/Climate Change Thread
Deathtoall replied to Micah's topic in Current Events
Orginally posted by MrFingers. [Plants thrive off CO2, directly. The vitality of plants is linked to our own productivity, the water efficiency of crops, the production of oxygen, and the subsequent reduction of CO2.] Yes plants survive off CO2 but what about other things hmm? Humans, animals? They need oxygen but if there is to much carbon dioxide their natural cycle(plants) can't keep up with humans ouput and given the deforestation of the Amazon and other great reserves of trees and some plants stand the etreme heat that will be caused by global warming. We all know that after the industrial revoloution CO2 levels went up right? Well if the pattern conitinues(Industrialisation of China and India) CO2 levels will increase even futher right? Yes you have some good points and global warming is still techincally a "theory" [Global warming is not necessarily a bad thing. The media and quacks have a bad habit of exaggerating the negatives and ignoring the positives when it comes to global wamring. Some simply research reveals this.] I don't see how Sydney(localized example) running out of drinking water or having coconuts in Antartica is a good reason for Global warming to be alowed to occur, or for that matter deserfication of more arable land in Africa and more frequent and violent storms(Hurricane season 2-0-5, first time you went into the greek alphabet i believe) What research proves this? To concluded, yes their are naturally occuring cycles with raises in temperature and ice ages(Some say we should have had another one but we stopped it, my science teacher) and solar radiation and their is other theories on warmer temperatures. Personally i think that we will conitinue to have rises in themperature until so much fresh water is released(ice is fresh water) from across the world it will stop the natural flow of hot salty water from the tropics. The fresh water i belive stops the salt sinking and it disrupts the flow of warm weather across Europe(thank the tropics for your mild weather) and stops the other water currents across the globe and so we have a breakdown in natural cycles of weather. Oh and weather is affected by water currents, El Nino, La Nina, the Amercan Jetstream over the Pacific, your Tornadoes all prime exmaples of water currents affecting weather. Ask your local beauracy of Meterology. Cars. If i could drive i would buy Toyota, but not as hybrid as they are too expensive. I would buy something like a Yaris becuase they don't breakdown as much so i don't have to buy a new car so they don't to make another one and add more pollution and in themselfs they are economical(less petrol, more money for me). Besides the Suv's in Australia look ugly(BWM M5's etc, Ssanyong Rexton) and to get around in Sydney you need a car as becuase for out of work hour trips the public transport system fails and normaly the distances are quite big. So feel free to disgree with me and please post a comment, i would really like hear your thoughts. -
Yeah, weird they are but what are you trying to get from this Duke?(Highlight to view) Red - Bus Yellow - Banana Blue - Sea Green - Leaves Orange - Sacre Torte(mudcake with an orange flavoured preserve in it from Austria) Purple - The artist Prince Brown - bark on tree Pink - Towel(we have lot's of pink towels) White and Black are together - Chessboard

At my school they have a ultra sensitive alarm system, cleaning products set it off and it atumoaticaaly calls the fire station and they come but becuase they are fake school has to pay 500 dollars(AUS), it's happened 10 times since april last year.

If you know me you might get this but i was joking around in a supermarket with a freind and i said "Hey look, a green avacado!", the only problem, it was a red capsicum(or red peppers i think americans call them), so know when every i'm out with freinds it's always "Hey look, a ....." It's really annoying considering it was like 5 years ago. Last year there was a minor earthquake in the pacific that casued no damage but it made a few tsunami warnings. A Fox presenter said that the Australian(i'm Australian) city of Brisbane had been completely evacuated when Brisbane did not havea tsunami warining becuase it was not even in the path (if there was one) of the tsunami. A drummer of a band from the 70's,80's i foget whom was playing with a gun and said " don't worry, it's not loaded", i sure you know how that ened up. Similar to "what could possibly go wrong?"

The first one is from my school moto (i know, lame) Vincet Veritas- Truth Conquers I believe that this is quite poweful, why, ready below. The truth always comes out, no matter what, no matter how long, the truth will out. Like for instance what really happened to Marilyn Manson. In the future, we remember not the words of our enemies but the silence of our friends- Martin Luther King After time our enemies will be forgotten but our friends not doing anything will always hurt us. A true friend stabs you in the front- Oscar Wild A true friend, if he/she is double crossing you, selling you out, will always have the guts to say it to your face and not sneak around. Funnies! Only gay in the village!- Daffyd Thomas. **** happens, a timeless classic Do you, or do you not, have printed on your buttocks, "Jesus is coming, look busy"- Johnny English. One tequilla, two tequilla, three tequilla more! 4 tequilla, 5 tequilla, 6 tequilla floor! (don't know where it's from) "How very dare you" "I'm not bovvered"- Catherine Tate Show You havin' a laugh?, is he havin' a laugh?- Ricky Gervais, Extras. There is probably more, but i feel to spaced out to write them

Deathtoall replied to organicsabre's topic in Gaming Talk
First game Sega, my brothes bought one and i used to play sonic2?, lemmings, this co-op game with moving cars and tanks you had to fire at. I still have the sega and the ten games. I never finished any. Some time after that we got a computer when i was about 5 or 6 and it had simcity 2000 on it and i loved it but one day it got deleted and i coulnd never find it again. I went out trying to find it and found simcity 3000, lol i was not in the know. after that i got a ps1 with croc, metal gear solid, and others i can't remember. Then later a new computer with simcity 3000, simcity 4 and sims, and lots of other simulation games Last console ps2 with dance stage, KH 1 + 2, Kelly slater, burnout takedown and revenge. Recently new graphics cards g-force 7000 i think with Age of Empires 3, lot's of other games from people who have grown out of them and many them park ones liket theme world and rollercoaster tycoon. Well now i'm eagerly waiting ps3 and Blazing angels. P.S, inbetween that numerous games that i can't remember -

I know it's the same as everyone else but it really is beautiful and green. Those stables and the mill look like they have been there forever. Thanks for showing us your beautiful work..
-
Wow, good luck. it will take you quite a while. As a Sydneysider it's hard not to love this. I can't wait for the northern beaches to be completed! I love that area. Manly is so nice, what a great place to start from.

Ireland such a beatiful country. The second last time i went there was '98, then around 2001?, sometime just after they finished the Luas line. It was quite a shock seeing some of Dublin's first "skyscrapers". I travel to Ireland every 4 years or so to see my relatives. Nice to see some of Dublin in 2006. What about some of the other re-developments like Dundrum's new shopping mall. A sign of the times eh? Thanks.

Europe vs America vs Asia vs Oceania
Deathtoall replied to jere90's topic in Architecture & Urban Planning
I think that to really decide on a place to live(or like) you must at least visit one city, town, village and part of the countyrside on all continents(besides Antartica). From what i'm told Beuno Aries- Argentina-(is that how you spell it?) is nice. It is supposedly very cosmopolitan and european. I have been to France, UK, Ireland, Indonesia, few pacific islands and USA and live in Australia. I will be visiting Latin America next year. From my travels i have two places for home. Sydney, Australia- It's where i'm from, everyone likes their hometown. Sure it has its problems but doesn't everyone? But i'd prefer living on the north side. Dublin, Ireland. I really love Dublin's cosmopolitan life. It's where my family is from. It is a beautiful city. Very much a jewel in the the crown of Europe. I'd love to visit Canada, i love your liberalism! Spain and Italy as well. Austria is good. I have only been to LA and Las Vegas in USA, although i did not like it very much i can't pass judgement on it has a whole. A country as varied as USA can't be judge on two cities. For me Australia will always be home, "no matter how far that i roam, i still call Australia home" Also don't exclude Asia, i think it is a thriving place full of unique culture. I would love to visit Tokyo. -

Appareantly three explorers have found the true source of the river Nile, full details in link. http://news.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=93932 So what do you think? Are they right or are they just trying to famous. If it's true the Nile will be over 100ks longer and books will have to be re-writtin!
