Amryai, First off welcome to Simtrop... The pictures you linked to were just the thumbnails on imageshack. You need to pull the direct link or a link to the full size at imageshack. That way we can see the whole picture. It does look like a pretty good city and region, but the pics are a bit small.....

I really like your use of that fencing or is it a wall..... Anyway is it a custom lot you built or something you found on the STEX? If so, can you tell me where to find it.

bobinator - If you change over the existing ski resort, please be sure to give us an updated picture....

Very Cool Beginning......There are some here at Simtrop that can just get you interested without any pictures **dhoppe turns green with envy** and you definately have my attention. Can't wait for more...

Looks like your ferry's are getting alot of use also....CJ looks great, keep it up....

Another great update. I really like how the area around the train station built up. I also like those gated communities...
-
Glad to see you kept this CJ going. I was starting to worry we might not get to see anymore. This is truly amazing work...

Jeronij, Thanks for the update and sorry to hear about your computer crash problems. I hope you can get it straightened out. Don't know if it would help, but I will, every couple of days, make a copy of my region folder. I move that copy to a temp folder. If ever something goes wrong with my current region, I can go back and move the copy back in. Not sure if something like that would help your situation. I love using those Peg Trails.....they can really add alot to a wooded area. The Church in pic CT02 is stunning! I love the rail transition over the water in CT03, smooth and seamless. CT04, I like how you have mixed old world looking buildings with the contemporary ones...

Great job with the ski resort. I have tried something like that in some of my earlier cities, but could never get it to look right. Keep up the great work...

Nice setup with the Dam. That whole area looks great... -
Hopefully the kid on the skateboard will be the first in a classroom. ...

I really like your city. It looks packed together and very dense, but at the same time has an open feeling about it. Not sure if that makes sense, but is definately a good thing. Keep up the great work, look forward to seeing more...

I can't believe Julian gave up Vargas that easily........

Thanks for the link Darmok.... I used to have a bad problem with the game crashing and usually before I got a game save in. I was really frustrated too. I am running it on a Pentium 4, 3.0Ghz. The only draw back is I only have half a gig of RAM. (which will hopefully be updated to 1.5 gig here soon) Anyway, after the game loads up, I do a ctrl-alt-del and go into the processes list and bump the priority of the game up one notch. I haven't had a problem since doing this....

Jeronij, The mosaics that you create are simply stunning. I had forgotten how much I missed Port de Soller.... I did notice what might be a game glitch in the picture. It appears that the helicopter flying over the water has two shadows.....Anyway, thank you for your continued dedication to this CJ...

Glad to see that Artemis finally moved out of that van....

Love the European look to those two shots. Where did you find that huge mansion/villa/resort?

ITS IN YOUR HANDS! The real interactive CJ

I am stunned that the airport got voted down. Well, I can't imagine a city this size going much longer without one... -
Love the continuing story line and have since the beginning. I really like the how the train station sneaks up to the back side of the dorms by the University. I would imagine it helps to keep car traffic down and encourage the students to walk more....

Great CJ - Great Storyline. I really like the sunken transportation lines. Keep up the great work.... And I guess I get to be the first to say, Welcome to Page 2

RHF, glad to see you got the farm problem fixed. If you zone for alot of farms, you may want to watch how level the land is. I found that there are some farms that will look really weird on uneven slopes, while there are some that look pretty cool if they are on uneven ground. Of course if it becomes a problem, you can just bulldoze it and have a different one grow. Looking forward to the next update and of course, I only asked about the trash because I was concerned for the health and well being of the citizens of Thistlewood.

I really like the look of your farmland on the way to the ferry terminal. Keep it up

Great update. I really like the transit map that starts off the update. Pic 1 - The scenic shot of the train crossing the river is outstanding. Such a simple shot, but with the water texture, it looks almost realistic. Pic 2 - How did you get your train to connect that many cars together? Iv'e never seen one that long. Pic 5 - Are those missing textures on the airport runway? Keep up the great work...

Well RHF, first off great update...., I do have a question for you though. Are you having any trash problems in the Tri-City are yet? If so, where is it going? I looked at some of the wider shot pictures and I don't see any landfills. If you would like, you may choose to answer this question next Wed. on request day, if the trash is indeed going someplace.
