  1. The Four Sisters Region

Ok, first off the region is look great. I really like what you did here. I have tried to make a city like this in the past where the only way to get downtown was through some form of mass transit. I just haven't been able to get it to work properly. The Industrial area looks fantastic and I like how you used the Marrast Seawalls on the road that leads to the ship building lot. The points that come out from the land look pretty cool. The canals on the island look great and I like how you used those corner hill lots (don't remember the name) to slope up to your bridge. Is the El Train line connected to the subway system? Anyway, great Update
  2. The dutch delta

The terrain is a little flat for my liking, but it is a cool looking region. You may want to resize your pic down to 800 X 600 before an admin deletes it. I will look forward to seeing your transportation network up close.
  3. Sculpting Columbia River

That is quite a bit of parking for the airport. I really like what you are doing with the LE. I can't wait to see the finished product. Jeroni, how did you come up with the list of dependencies? I don't know how to do this. Regards, dhoppe
  4. Life on an Airplane, an RHF CJ

Again, I really enjoy the Building Profiles. What a great unique idea. Keep 'em coming... Regards, dhoppe
  5. Franklin County - A 1st CJ

Yes, very nice start. Nice looking region, very plush. I appreciate all the forward info. The first development pic is interesting. I like the look of the terraced road. I'll be looking forward to seeing how you develop your farmland....Very nice indeed. The only thing I would suggest, if possible, is increase the graphic resolution in-game. The pics are a bit pixelated. I understand though, that not everyone can run their game with the graphics turned up. I'll be coming back for more. Regards, dhoppe
  6. Anduin Valley Revisited

Darmok my man.....Loved the update...I really don't get a ton of time to get online and post, but when I do, I try to cover everything I can. This is usually my wind down time. I like to visit as many CJ's as possible for inspiration and some of the off topic conversations for fun. I try to get a couple of hours a week playing the game too. As summer creeps in though, I find that time harder to come by. Now the update. PEG's stations fit perfectly there and I like the two next to each other especially with the Nexis Grain Lot next door. I really like how you use those ped. tunnels, I can't seem to get the hang of them. Why wouldn't you want to live near the skate park? Aren't you from or use to be from Canada? I thought eveyone up there could skate eh? I like the mix of industrial near the farms, it seems realistic to me. At least in my little corner of the world. And as always, I enjoy your global shots....You always seem to pick the right angle. Thanks for a great update my friend.... Regards, D
  7. Enoch

Hey, first off thanks for the pic Z, It looks fantastic and whaddya know, I see a letter Z there. Great job with the farms, you must know they are my favorite...I also like the student housing...And the more global shot of the area is fantastic. Great Update...
  8. The Four Sisters Region

aleking - I missed the previous update, so I would like to go back to that one first. I really like your use of the canals around the industrial area and how you used the sound barrier walls is a nice touch. What really caught my eye here was the use of the Japanese sea walls as well as the pipeline that runs along them. That looks fantastic. I really like the port in the last pic as well. It appears to be quite varied and unique. Great Job.
  9. Klondike Delta

The region shot is just incredible. Looks like most of it is developed....
  10. Aldebaran

The mosaics are fantastic. I really like that train station in this latest pic. Is it part of the GLR Mod? BTW, does it get pretty stinky on that golf course...
  11. Wood County - Rebirth

tms - the whole interchange area is really cool looking. It does look like it could confuse your sims a bit. But very creative. Thanks for the creek and waterfall being named after me. It seems appropriate since I really like that rural type of stuff. Looks very nice BTW. I enjoyed the fact that you showed us the process of your land reclamation project. I always enjoy those technical updates. The finished product looks fantastic indeed. Regards, dhoppe
  12. Tarrytowne River Valley

aldara - 2 great updates.....The wharf area look fantastic. I really like the parks, really makes the area look nice. Nice placement of the water reclamation plant. Fits perfectly. The waste water treatment plant was done very nicely too. I like how you used those new lots from PEG for the discharge. Looks credible. The rail yard is fantastic. Again, you seem to have a knack for combining several lots and making them work. Great Job my Friend... Regards, D

  14. The Avatar Above Me

10/10 - How can you not love Scooby Doo?
  15. Honest Thing about the person above you - Take 2

^Is the King of Sim City
  16. City of La Salle

Continues to be very original. The postcards are a nice touch, but the old map is fantastic. Great Job.
  17. Turnwood

What a great update. Congrats on the 10,000 views. Quite a milestone. It is amazing how much development you have achieved in such a small area of your region. It just feels like the whole region should be filled by now. Anyway, thanks for the update, I really enjoyed it. Regards, dhoppe
  18. Tarrytowne River Valley

Yeah that one. Just wondering if you got a little creative with your building plopping....
  19. The Signature Above Me

6/10 - But only because the sig pic is too big....The sunset is nice though...
  20. Anduin Valley Revisited

Another Outstanding Update I really like what you did around the Church....The European buildings in close proximity are perfect and the ones on the cliff side are great. The trails and the farms here look great...I really like some of the enterances you built leading up to the farm. Nice touch. Looks like your freight train's got a tailgater there... The Hotel is a beautiful BAT. Looks to me like it would have sophisticated rooms....and that water tower looks cool. Ahhh, pic 2_10, there is that driveway I mentioned earlier....Looks fantastic. The Wildflowers across from the church are a nice touch....and the ped. tunnel under the bridge is a cool idea. You continue to amaze my friend..... And welcome to page 21....
  21. Tarrytowne River Valley

Hey aldara - Great Update. The story is coming along great. I like the concrete walls around the industrial park and the Greasy Spoon looks cool. Is that really a commercial BAT? I like how you balanced out the area across from the docks as well. Later, D
  22. Life on an Airplane, an RHF CJ

Just a great update RHF. Again, love the building profile... The city grid is really developing there. It looks good. I am still a bit concerned with the lack of farm land though. I wouldn't want to see the local farmers picketing outside your office.
  23. Anduin Valley Revisited

Hey D, great peek. The attention to detail is amazing. I really like how you used those end pieces from Jeroni's white trail set. And the seperate road into the bus depot....Just fantastic. Have you tried to PM a moderator regarding your profile? Maybe they could help. Later, dhoppe
  24. Tarrytowne River Valley

aldara - Looks Great. I think the residential will develop nicely in the first pic. Given time it should turn out to be a very wealthy area. I also like the embankment leading to the bridge there also. I like the way you did the parking area for the industrial in the third pic and the Osaka Corp building in the last pic is awesome. I assume you found that in the Japanese thread.....I will have to go look for it. Great Update... Regards, dhoppe
  25. Cjs falling back

Ughhhh.....First off, you said a few replies back that you even think your cities are crap or c**p as you put it. This is SimTrop, the last thing I would do is post pics from a city I knew were terrible. The standard is set much higher on this site and therefore the members of this site expect that level of quality. Or at the very least someone who is willing to learn and try to achieve that level. Secondly, I spent three months of lurking and finally posting in CJ's on this site before I got up the nerve to start mine. I wanted to make sure that I wasn't going fall on my face first. And even then I was still hesitent of posting because of all the great work out there. Lastly, I gave you a chance in the beginning with your CJ(s). But then I started to see a new CJ pop up from you, what every other day it seemed. That coupled with these help threads has turned me off. I have said it before, perhaps in one of your CJ's, you are trying too hard. Please take to heart some of the advise that is being offered here.
