Those are really cool pictures there aldara. I knew it was called something like a roundhouse, roundabout...something like that. I wonder, do these type of structures still get used today? Later, D

RHF - Here is the skinny on getting a border to your liking. 1. File -> New -> Choose the size you want. For LPC, I use 800 X 600. Under Contents at the bottom of the pop up choose transparent. You should now have a layer window that has a checkerboard looking background. This means it is transparent. 2. Next select Layer -> New -> Layer -> When the popup window comes up, click ok. 3. Now, make sure that we have the right tools open. Go to the Window option at the top of the screen and make sure that the following have check marks next to them. Tools, Styles and Layers. The styles is the first thing we want to work with. You can do this step with just a regular color fill also. 4. Under the styles window, which should be in the upper right hand corner, choose a style. Clicking on the little right facing arrow will give you options to choose other types of styles. 5. After clicking a style. Go to the tools toolbar (should be on the left of your screen) and select the paintbucket option. If it doens't appear as the factory setting, many of the buttons there have other options. Just click and hold to reveal more tools. 6. There should be, in the bottom right hand side of the screen a tool bar that reveals the layers you have open. You should see layer 2 and layer 1. Make sure that layer 2 is highlighted and click on your canvas with the painbucket tool. The entire canvas should now be covered with whatever style you chose. 7. Now go back to your tools toolbar on the left of the screen and select the marquee tool. This is the very first one. There are a couple of shapes there. Choose which one you want. 8. Go to the canvas and click/drag the area that won't be your frame. 9. There should now be a blinking dotted line. Hit the delete key and you should now see the transparent background of layer one. 10. Now what I do, making sure that in your layer toolbar layer 2 is above layer 1, I click layer one highlighting it. This means we are now working on layer 1. 11. I copy/paste my in game images to layer one, which places them behind the frame. There are a lot of things you can do from this point. You can create more layers and insert text. Just remember that the layer that is on top of the layer list in the toolbox is the top most visible layer. You can double click on each layer in the layer toolbox to get other options for that layer. Well, I don't know if I helped or confused your further. I have always had a hard time explaining how to do something. I would never make a good teacher. I hope that I also didn't insult you with some of the basics. I just wrote this assuming you knew nothing abou the program or image editing. At the very least perhaps someone reading this other than yourself can learn from it. Let me know if you have any questions.

Wow, that is alot of devastation. I just knew the airport wasn't gonna get away without any damage. I see a couple of the high end homes weathered the storm....Great Update Comdude

Great building profiles. I really like the Piedmont Shopping Center. Looking forward to the expanding story and of course as the Minister of Agriculture, I will be interested to see the development of new farming facilities north of Piedmont.

I really like the look of the farms out on the cliffs. The region shot is incredible and the farm in Mytilene is just awesome. What a fantastic picture this is. Complete with cows grazing on the hillside. Wonderful Update(s)

Darmok Manor is looking fantastic, but I also wanted to mention that I like how you presented these pics. The frames (if that is what you want to call them) are fantastic.

aldara my man - Great update. The rail yard looks incredible and I like how you filled the empty spaces in with trees. I especially like the area near the rail roundabout....(is that what it is called ) I like how you transitioned down to the industrial sector as well. So the Navy is coming to Lighthouse Cove eh? Will they continue to increase the presence? Can't wait to find out. Fantastic update as always.....How about a region shot though....I would really like to see how things are coming together.... Regards, D

Darmok - Fantastic update. Another great use of the ped. tunnel in the first pic I see. Some interesting buildings there as well. I always enjoy your technical shots. I enjoy seeing how it gets done. Looks like something interesting may be happening there in the bottom right corner of pic 4_04. Perhaps we will find out later? What I really like about this update is the chapel area. Very nicely done indeed. I just love how you wrapped the dirt trails around it. I like how you are mixing your agricultural lots with the rest of your development. They seem to coexist without interfering with each other. Bravo my friend. Regards, dhoppe

Jeroni, the harbor area is fantastic. All the detail is amazing. I really like the power station. Looks great where it is placed. The farming area is very inviting...and the Citidel looks incredible. As always, stunning work. BTW, thanks for the help on the dependecy list. I will check it out. Regards, Dhoppe

Hey, great update KOSC. And not just because I have my own manor now. BTW, thanks for that. I will now be able to use it as a summer home. I am sure that Darmok will agree with me, that we hope there is a pub nearby. I really enjoyed the technical shots as well. I like seeing how things are done.

Yeah, I agree with creilmann. I think you sold yourself short. This was a great update, but the pic that really caught my eye was the small museum on the pond. I love the simple pics such as this. I think they really show the character of this game.

The mosaic is fantastic. I really like those kind of pics. And the zoom pic is pretty cool. BTW, I think your amount of detail is perfect.

Hey Darmok. Just wanted to drop by and answer your question. I have not had any problems with the rail stations working. I think that they only need touch the rail like the standard stations. Hey and BTW, the new sig looks good. I haven't skated in almost a year as well. The knees just don't hold up like they used to. Later, D
