This is a map of the northern Coast of Oregon. It is scaled accurately. It is100 by 16 km. I'm sorry for the lack of a good preview picture, but Region Census would not show the whole image. Instructions (very important note below): If you don't have my plugins pack, download it here. 1) Place the 1500m.dat plugin in your plugins folder, and remove any other height mod plugins... thanks to Andy80586 and lookinin for helping me create the mods. 2) Create a new folder called North Oregon Coast in your ...My Documents/SimCity 4/Regions directory. 3) Download the config.bmp file and place it in the new folder 4) Download the NorthOregonCoast1500.jpg file and remember where you downloaded it to. 5) Run your SimCity 4 game 6) Open the North Oregon Coast Region 7) On your keyboard, press and hold down 'ctrl' + 'alt' + 'shift' + 'r'--this should bring up a dialogue box 8) Browse to the folder that you downloaded NorthOregonCoast1500.jpg to, find "NorthOregonCoast1500.jpg", and open this file. 9) This should start the rendering. BE PATIENT. This will likely take between20 and50 minutes. 10) Have fun! Copyrights: I don't care about copyrights. You may use this however you want, as long as it is legal. If you want to give someone credit, just say Mallow The Cloud made the map. For any information, questions comments, concerns, or suggestions about my maps, or if you want to request a custom config.bmp for one of my maps, visit this page. -

Sometimes, for some reason, the jpg files don't save a greyscale jpegs. If you have IrfanView, just save it as a 'greyscale' jpeg and try it again. I hope this helps.

Rendering map causes all water region
MallowTheCloud replied to jlmiksch's topic in Mapping Community Room
Hmm... well, from what I've observed, the region.ini file makes very little difference... and is created automatically. I wouldn't think that would be the problem If you have Cycledogg's Terrain Mod, that may be an issue. Also, if the import.dat file wasn't in your plugins folder, that would cause this similar issue. -

Rendering map causes all water region

LOL, no problem. The issue is probably that you didn't include the import.dat plugin in your plugins folder. -
Alright... first of all, have you checked out this forum yet? https://www.simtropolis.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=120&threadid=72067&enterthread=y It has the three most common problems that can lead to that error message.

I have created an executable program similar to yours that can serve many purposes. Though it isn't quite as extensive as your spreadsheet, it is made for ease of use. Please download and try it.

XP, but if I knew how I'd be using Mandrake Linux. -
The spreadsheet was VERY easy to use in my opinion. I think it was a great idea. Thanks again!
