Keep in mind that most of the US is in 'Daylight Savings Time'. So, that's 1:00 (AM) GMT. I have to get on at 6PM. I think I can manage. helomoto, Arizona doesn't use Daylight Savings Time, right? So, for Phoenix, that would also be 6PM.

Date: 6/19/2005 3:37:57 PM Author: boggy1 I did put it in. But, which plugin folder do you mean? The My Docs or My Comp one?quote> I didn't think it mattered... but it may. I always put it in the My Docs folder. I dunno whether you did or not, but make sure it's not in a subfolder. In other words, don't put it in: ...\SimCity 4\Plugins\Import\import.dat Make sure it's rather in: ...\SimCity 4\Plugins\import.dat
  5. Mapp Squad Request Pack 1 International Edition

Check the readme. The import.dat file, when in your plugins folder, will allow the water to be at the correct level, as well as allowing higher mountains. And, thanks again for all the comments!

Date: 6/19/2005 1:02:02 PM Author: superchad can you make another indinapolis map, one that includes hamilton county and other countys sourrounding indinapolis, make sure it is the whole county.quote> The map of Indianapolis that I already made is huge. It would take hours to render a map of the whole county to scale. If you really want me to make one, I will, but I'm warning you that it will be huge and slow both to render and just regularly load.
  7. Official Mapping Community Requests

Thanks for the comments, comdude and RHF! Without the Mapp Squad... not only would I be nowhere, but I wouldn't have this many people saying thanks to me! Without that... I think I would have quit doing these requests long ago. So... thanks again!

Date: 6/19/2005 11:48:41 AM Author: boggy1 I seem to be having a problem with your Long Island map. I just spent 2 hours rendering it, and all I got was a big, blank, Ocean. What went wrong?quote> You have to put the import.dat plugin in your plugins folder before you begin rendering. Thanks for the comment, tijn!

  11. Version 1.0

    3,607 Downloads

Due to the volume of requests coming in to the Mapp Squad requestthread, I realised that it would be both inefficient and insufficiantto release them one by one as maps. So, I am releasing the requestshere, as a pack. Note: There is now a pre-rendered version of Norwich and Great Yarmouth available in the Map Squad Forum section. The first request pack for international cities includes: Aurillac, France Barcelona, Spain Berlin, Germany Bermuda Brisbane, Australia Florence, Italy Geelong, Australia Gothenburg, Sweden Jamaica (not to scale) Mexico City, Mexico Monterrey, Mexico Mornington Peninsula, Australia Norwich and Great Yarmouth, UK Rome, Italy Scotland (not to scale) Strasborg, France I hope you like it! Copyrights: I don't care about copyrights. You may use this however you want, aslong as it is legal. If you want to give someone credit, just sayMallow The Cloud made the map. For any information, questions, comments, concerns, or suggestions about my maps, visit this page.

Wonderful update as always! I can't wait to see development in that area! I'll try to give instructions on hosting pictures from ImageShack: 1; Upload your picture to ImageShack 2; Copy one of the last ones... the one that starts with http:// (To the right it says 'Direct link to Image') 3; Find the spot that you want the image to go. Type in {img src='paste the image link here'} , replacing paste the image link here with your image link (the one starting with http://). Also, replace the { } with < > I hope this isn't too confusing. Date: 6/17/2005 4:54:42 PM Author: jeronij MTC, do I see your Windows in Spanish . As far as I know, you are not Spanish, are you?

  17. Where is it

Aha, I did a bit of searching, and a few days ago greyveil uploaded it to the STEX temporarily because the site is down. https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?mode=files&filetype=BAT&Str=landscape%20designer%200973%20beta

And for those who already have try and make the meeting next week and select a city you would like from this map http://www.simcitysphere.com/UCS/UCS%202%20Full%20Size%20Region%20View.JPG . quote> Hmm... if I may request a map... I'd like the map due west of Grundale... If this is too early to make a request, I'm sorry.
  20. Nimbus Bay

This CJ is based on the landform Long Beach . Here is my folder of plugins (1.01): I'm using NO cheats and playing the game on HARD. Here are the three region maps I have so far (1.02, 1.03, 1.04): Okay, you can see the city names by the last image there. However, as you know, SC4 makes cities on tiles that are square, and those cities are not square. So, in many cases one city is on two tiles, or two cities (or more) are on one tile. So, we'll create terminology: a 'city' is a space I have outlined in red above, a 'tile' is an SC4 city. Alright, that said, I have three tiles I'd like to showcase today: Nimbus Bay, Lorea, and Cloudclaw Bay. I will organize them this way: first I'll show the landform, then the traffic, then the 'census' so to speak, then four images from the tile itself. Let's start with Nimbus Bay! Here is the vital information for the Nimbus Bay tile (1.05, 1.06, 1.07): Here are pictures from the city of Nimbus Bay, downtown. The first is just a downtown shot, the second is downtown along the shore, and the third is the residential area of downtown (1.08, 1.09, 1.10). And finally, while we're on the tile of Nimbus Bay, I'll show a picture of downtown Wapeng (1.11). Okay, now on to the Lorea tile. Once again, the vital information (1.12, 1.13, 1.14): Now, the only city on the Lorea tile is Lorea... so no need to worry about confusing people there. Here are some shots of downtown, the first is the center of downtown and the second is a portion at night (1.15, 1.16). Two more images... the first is the Lorea University area, and the second is a portion of the mid-rise residential area (1.17, 1.18 ). Okay, finally we have the tile of Cloudclaw Bay. First, the vital information (1.19, 1.20, 1.21): Next, we have pictures of the downtown of the city of Cloudclaw Bay... wow, that was a lot of 'of's... The first is residences downtown, and the second is downtown at night (1.22, 1.23). Next, we have a small portion of the city of Allus (1.24). Finally, we have a portion of the city of Norte (1.25). Okay, that's all for the first chapter. Here's the population information so far: Residents: 351208 Commerce: 152384 Industry: 71400 I'd like to thank all the people at SimTropolis. Without you, none of this would be possible, as I'd have been bored of SC4 long ago. I'd especially like to thank the Mapp Squad, Jeroni, and the makers of all the mods I'm using, as well as those I'm not . Thanks for reading this first update, and... Questions, comments, concerns, and suggestions are always welcome!

Great as always, Jeroni! Keep it up!
  24. Maptastic Summer-we want YOU!

Timewise... I don't care when the meeting is... I just have to remember it... As for new members, I would love to have new members join. Though we can't accept everyone, we should accept the diligent ones! It is not just skill, but diligence, that will add greatly to the Mapp Squad's success.
  25. Sculpting Columbia River

Great job as always! I love that new development... but then I don't think there's an update here that I didn't love. A member label, eh? I like the idea, though as it's been said before, you are great with or without one!
