Ive played it for a couple hours now, and If I could offer any suggestions for what I would like to see, they would be as follows.
A far more in depth ability to manage the economy, taxation, funding ordinance ect.
I terribly miss disasters.
a few more building types "Every large hotel was identical"
but most importantly the ability to modify a terrain to your liking (For offline users of course)
That being said, its a very pretty game, the Terrain is the nicest i've seen in any sim, Im very hopeful that future updates will make it really great.
