  1. Mc Donalds

Variety is always a good thing. Great effort! I agree about the big sign, I have yet to see a standalone McD's without one, but overall, wonderful. I'll give it a shot.
  2. Neo-Toronto

All the rest are empty. That will change, ultimately... Burksville was my No-Region Play city, this one will be fully region-play. It's simply not big enough yet to bother creating other cities, but that will come shortly. Growth is starting to take off.
  3. Neo-Toronto

Thanks guys! Yeah, it is small; I do tend to play rather slowly, and it will likely be a very long time before you see any skyscrapers in Neo-Toronto. I tend to enjoy the slow development over time, watching particular neighborhoods go through years of change. As for realism, it's something I am trying for, with more or less success... I'm also working a bit more than usual with the terraforming tools. The bridge visible over the small lake on the island is a good example; I kept U-Drive It missions in mind when I planned that bridge, and graded the land in front of and behind the bridge so that if I happen to be driving a bus up to the bridge, I might actually be able to get to the top in under 5 minutes. My grading could've been smoother, but hey, I'm still learning some of this... old SC2K/3K habits die hard. More pictures to follow sometime in the next day or two; don't know precisely when.
  4. Neo-Toronto

Here are the first pics of development in Neo-Toronto. In keeping with my desire to avoid recreating the real city, the initial founding spot is a departure from history. The city is called Centreville, named for an amusement park on Centre Island. I won't bother with pictures of the industrial area (accessable by ferry, a nod to the real Centre Island which features three ferry docks that link it to the mainland) as the industrial area is small and currently quite uninteresting. Centre Island by day. Eventually the west-bound stretch of avenue will curve north towards a spot where the island comes VERY close to the mainland, and a bridge can be built to link them. By that point the population might be sufficient to require the bridge, as the planned three ferries won't have limitless capacity. On the other hand, if I go for a lower density population, a bridge may never become necessary. EDIT: Just some cleaning up of the prose. I shouldn't write when I'm tired. Or at least, I shouldn't post what I write when I'm tired without proof-reading.
  5. Bus Stop Set

A wonderful addition to the original. As a recent SC4RH bus freak (as anyone who's seen my CJ can attest), I *LOVE* this. Thank you! This will be going into my new region ASAP.
  6. Housing

The daytime shot makes a big difference. Looks excellent. I'll certainly give it a try, though I'll probably use the growable one much more. :)
  7. JENX Monschau Red House

Looks wonderful; easy 9. I might be tempted to go 10, but I really, really want a growable version... menus are too cluttered as it is, and I prefer a more organically grown cityscape.
  8. BAT Taco bell

    Wow... amazing. Just amazing.
  9. Landmarks with Employment

It's not surprising this didn't immediately come to mind, but the CN Tower in Toronto should have jobs as well, maybe a 200-500 at most. AWESOME lot, btw. Like many others, I'll be a lot less hesitant to drop in some landmarks with this!
  10. The Xenoflark Zone

It might be interesting to invert it and then give it a shot...
