digger313 replied to chomusclavus's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
well each little square in any map is 16x16 meters, so you can figure out how big each map is as far as how long it would take you to render a map thatx 100 000 x 100 000 miles,.....have a good life cause thats how long it would take you to render it -

There is no dependencies needed The reasons why they wouldn't grow is if the demand gets to high they wouldn't grow because there isn't enough people living in the houses to make up for the demand, What I'm saying is that if one of my houses has 5 people living and joe's had 10 people living in it, joe's house is going to grow way sooner than mine when the demand gets really high, so In order to get them to grow your demand has to be somewhat low in the early stages of the game. You can change that by useing Ilive to increase the number of people living in that house. As far as growing in right-sized Res. zones, if you put 2 2x2 zones toghter any 4x2 res. house can grow in that zone, that is if I understany what your saying

simmars-forum-threads Mars BAT Building Thread!
digger313 replied to falcon5018's topic in SC4 BAT & Lot Workshop
if you want to change it from a solid to a none solid is not that hard. it might be a bit of work but it's not hard select your solid and convert it to a poly select each side of the solid face one at a time Hold the shift key and drag it ahead a very tiny bit Clone it to object When you have them all done, delete the solid The other thing you could do is add maps as windows to the solid which would be alot easier anyway -

The interior offers options that include a kitchen that can accommodate a small dining area or can be designed to offer more cabinets and a larger Great Room. The gas, direct vent fireplace can be located in the corner or on the rear wall and a bedroom that can be modified to become a library. The standard 8 -

The wall and window textures look brilliant though. How does this look? align=baseline> align=baseline>
