This is happening in running cities with power to spare. I want to get rid of the parkiing lots as well as the zots over plain roads, which will turn into lots after a while. I have 7 lots so far in one city. Every time I open a new city they show up. Ignoring them or obliterating each city is the last option. I hate to destroy two years of work over a glitch. I'm close to giving up.

When loading a city I get a dialog box saying a plugin is needed which is no longer available, then it only gives a long number for the missing file. How do I equate this number with the file in the Plugins folder? It doesn't seem to correlate to a number in the files at all, much less trolling through the folder for it. Searching doesn't help either. While on the subject, clicking on red/green stripes (brown boxes) also doesn't give me the name of the file that is incomplete or missing dependencies, only a cryptic name with a letter and number like 2fd. I can tell it's a residential house in the suburb, but how do I find the house using only that number? Thanks for your help. You guys have been awfully nice in the chatroom.

When I start my largest city I get a box that says I am missing Plugin Pack 1388347722 and a couple of others. How do I find that plugin which I may have deleted before? Or how do I locate buildings that need it and delete them? I tried searching with this question and couldn't find anything.Sorry if this is a common problem or has been posted before. My city crashes the moment I click Accept. I can't play anymore until I resolve this issue. Please help!!!

I just started downloading a lot of files and created folders like the categories here, i.e. Civic, Commercial, Residential, etc. Inside Commercial I have Restaurants, Retail, etc, Inside Restaurants I have Simgoober, Kevdan, etc. so I can find things the way I think - in subfolders. I'd rather have a lot of small folders than a few large and complicated ones to navigate. That way also if I delete something, it all goes in one swipe rather than having to find this zip and that dat and so on. For Utility I have Rail, Pedestrian, Roads, etc, so I know where to look when I can't remember specifically where I put things. It helps me navigate coz that Plugin folder was really getting massive fast. I just noticed when there were a bunch of the same I'd make a folder for them. I have a folder for the megabat, props, and dependencies, too, so they're all together. Hope this helps. I'm a newbie here, too. Only been playing a month or so.

Thanks, Capt! That might help me, too. After saving and exiting, when I came back those cities were gone! Had to start over with them twice. Maybe it was having trouble. It said it had saved them, but they sure went away. I'll try your suggestions.
