you could look at Trolcas train mod on ST https://www.simtropolis.com/modding/index.cfm?p=details&id=225 or search for 'train mod' or 'automata' on the STEX.

Yep the actual mod came out in 2005, the updates are all textures and tree updates. Jeronij's snowcapped low and lower mod came out after the original mod. You will need the updated tree controllers, textures etc to use with jeronij's mod. Also somewhere on this site is a link to cp's home site which has the original textures but not the actual mod as far as I can work out. I'll see if I can supply a link for you. Well the links on his home site don't work anymore so I won't link to it. Most of the updated CPT trees etc are on the stex.

Are these buildings available for SimCity 4?
existenz replied to stevenoon's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
SC4 Devotion doesn't have a good search feature - i.e. you can't search by name so try under the creators ks_jpn for Burg Al Arab, or just try searching under commercial hirises. -

MRyS was made by north country dude and the support thread for the MRyS is in the BLAM section of the forum. I think you'd be better off asking there. https://www.simtropolis.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=121&threadid=82523&enterthread=y

BSC Textures V1 and 2 are found on SC4Devotion site, Peg textures can be found on SC4 Devotion site too under BSC Textures v1. You'll need to register twice for SC4D (once for the forums and again for the LEX) Hope this helps. Edit: Sorry wasn't very clear Peg Textures is now in BSC Textures V1

Are you talking about the MML mod? The one where there are several sets of say jeronij's seawalls, the mml dat makes it just one icon in the menu until you plop it and then it opens up the others. I'll have a look for a link but Andreas put out the original. Here it is https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?id=15677 If you type in MMl on the STEX it comes up with several others , it depends on which sets you have that you want to hide on the menu.

www.simpeg.com Peg is about to release some new bats and one of them has handicapped parking spaces on them with a neat logo. Have a look on the front page for it and you can always ask Peg about it - whether the logo can be posted separately or not. Edit: Its in the Lighthouse Museum, if you scroll down, last on the front page and click on where it says '19 comments' it will take you to the thread about it and give you a closer look at the texture.

SC4 crashing when building roads with highways
existenz replied to SC4BOY's topic in NAM & Transit Networks
Cleanitol file can be found at SC4 Devotion - www.sc4devotion.com You have to register twice - once for the forum and again to download from the LEX. I think it can be found under BSC ( search for BSC) or under wouganaine ( the creator of Cleanitol ) -
Hi mrbisonm. I really like the garbage recycling whatever facility and look forward to its release. I was wondering about several of the lots you have posted and would love to get my hands on several of them so here goes. The first motel you posted, the chicken, horse, cattle and veggies farm ( in your second lot of pictures posted), the farms you posted in the third set of pictures ( especially the long low roofed blue building farms). I was wondering if you were ever going to release them? I don't mind dependencies and have nearly all prop and texture packs known to SC4 and man! LOL! I have all of Nexis lots and they look fantastic ingame so whatever the reply I wish to thank you for your great contribution to the enjoyment of the game.

EA has really outdone itself
existenz replied to ViolentBreed's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
Sorry I wasn't sure if you had Deluxe or not. One thing that might help although you probably know this - there is a certain order the NAM files have to be installed in. I think it goes 1) NAM June 07 2) NAM Essentials 3) NAM Update Jan 08 4) the other additional files such as additional bridges, the Side street addon (SAM), RHW etc If you install in any other order the newer files may be replaced by older files and that might be contributing to your crashes. The Cleanitol program ( by Wouganaine on SC4 Devotion) will look up old files and back them up out of your plugin folders and should be used in conjunction with installing the NAM. Hope this helps. The order of the plugins i.e. conflicting mods etc can cause crashes so is a good idea to find out about the loading order of your files. There is a post here I think on the Omnibus called Plugin mania which is very useful to read before adding in any custom content. Good luck, its a great game and would be a pity if you can't fix the crashes. Edit: Also I found Daeley's save alarm mod useful as it puts a message in your SC4 messages box reminding you to....wait for it...save your city. I found the updated one on SC4 Devotion - search for it under 'creator' (Daeley). -
sffc look at the SC4 Mapper thread on www.sc4devotion.com You will have to register for the forums and then scroll down the forums until you get to custom content tools https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=85.0 its in wouganaines first post (the link to the file I mean)

Also there is a certain order you have to install the NAM in eg: 1) June 07 NAM 2) NAM essentials 3) Update NAM Jan 08 and then RHW (If you want it) then SAM (if you want that) and then additional bridges (these are found on www.sc4devotion.com ) Otherwise the Cleanitol file will uninstall updated files ( Install Cleanitol first ( also found on www.sc4devotion.com ) You'll need to register twice - once for the forums and again for the LEX. Hope that helps. I also find datpacker (onSC4Devotion) stopped all my zoom crashes. I'd suggest reading the NAM readme files carefully before installing as there are optional components to the NAM that you have to choose during the install such as betterpathfinding or 10x pathfinding. Find out what they mean before you have to choose. Have fun!

EA has really outdone itself
existenz replied to ViolentBreed's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
Actually Datpacker, NAM etc only work with RH or Deluxe ( Deluxe combines SC4 and Rush Hour together, RH is an addon to SimCity 4) Without RH or Deluxe you wont be able to use NAM and is probably the cause of the crashes as it wasn't designed to be used without Rush Hour. I suggest you buy RH or Deluxe - they only cost approx 10 - 15 USD and add so much to the game. Also nearly all custom content is for RH or Deluxe, there's hardly any thing for SC4 vanilla. -

Crash To Desktop.(CTD) Also NAM is only for Rush Hour not vanilla SC4 if that helps. Datpacker will help if you have crashes while zooming in and out. Datpacker can be found at -
Do installed, but unused prop packs eat into memory?
existenz replied to Citizen Sim's topic in SC4 Bugs & Technical Issues
I believe they do but I also have just 1 gig memory but have over 2 gigs in plugins. Datpacker has helped considerably. If the proppack is popular it is probably used in many other buildings so may be worth it. It depends on how much you want to download and whether your game is already slow to start with. Make sure you move out of plugins folder any jpg's and readme's that will slow up load time. Datpacker solved all my zoom crashes and I find it really useful. -
You could also try wouganaine's Datpacker found on SC4 Devotion www.sc4devotion.com. You have to register twice - once for the site and again for the LEX (download part). Datpacker fixed all my zoom crashes.

sthlrd thanks for that I couldn't find it on the STEX. But I did find it in my ST Collectors DVD - guess I should have looked there first huh! tpepple: there is virtually no addons for the original SC4. You're better off buying RH or deluxe - they're pretty cheap ( around $10-20 USA Dollars if you look around) especially if you want NAM.

Yelluzha Technologies is available on the STEX CD's but I don't know anywhere else that the original is available. I bought both CD's and they are very useful especially for the dependencies for the CAM. So many original buildings and farms - it definately was worth it. I even found Jeorg's Target that I had been looking for for ages. Just be aware that many of the buildings on the CD's have been updated since so you have to be careful to get the updated prop and texture packs from SC4 Devotion where most are now held.
