Welcome to Junction City! Update 3: The New Highway. Junction City had long been forgotten, bypassed by Intersate 57 (made up). A recent earthquake in the McAdoo area had deemed the area unsafe for such a major road, therefore, it was rerouted on SR-171 through Junction City. The city has built a small park complex to make the young Sims happy. The city, in response to the insurge of travelers, has built a small new development tract. Oh no!!! A small fire has been started at pumpkin acres!! No matter, the Junction City Fire Department will have it all sorted soon. Next Update: The City Grows...

Welcome to Junction City! Update 2: Expansion The burgeoning town decided to build a small town centre to celebrate the arrival at 500 population. They relocated the old schools, fire, medical, and a brand new police station. I finally have a home! No more boarding house for me... New development in Junction City. I vote one of these three cities: Los Angeles, California San Francisco, California San Jose, California Los Angeles is the "big city" San Francisco is important. San Jose is a slightly less large city that has always gotten the crap end of the stick. It's still a great city... -
The large McAdoo floodplains is a sparsely decorated landscape with incredibly few patrons. Basically, it is big, flat, and empty. This City Journal will be tracking the growth of this prime land and see what happens...

I am so sorry, McAdoo Plains is no more. SimCity4 developed an error that caused it to incinerate all of my region files. I don't know if I will ever be able to rebuild... Again, I am sorry. Thread closed.

Update 1: McAdoo, Junction City, and Las Consumtas: The three cities have grown greatly since the regionalization of McAdoo Plains. The large city of McAdoo is on the very edge of the Delphi River. It is a great industrial power, due to its connection to the river. This city is accessed by the Shaw Highway, the oldest, most used road in the area. Junction City is a small village at the junction of Highway 221 and Tesla Road, also a very old, often used road. This is a typical farming town with a tiny population. Las Consumtas is the only city with access to the seaboard. It is a big tourist town that is yet to be developed.
