  1. Windowed Mode Question

Hmmmm, well, I just can't get it to run in Windowed mode. Any ideas? I have 64bit 7, Home Premium
  2. Getting a New Laptop Soon

I have a Dell Studio 1558 (i5-520m, 4gb 1333mhz ram, Ati Radeon HD 4570, 500gb 7200 rpm hdd, backlit keyboard, 9 cell battery-good battery life and cooling, and more) that costs around $1300, if you can get an EPP, like me, you should be able to get it for $900, and I can play games like FSX and Burnout Paradise fluently.

Also, SC4 is a program that is MEANT to run alone, and not with or side by side with another one. NO MATTER HOW MANY CORES YOU HAVE. SC4 was published in 2003, and it was designed for use without other programs (unless they have a direct connection with it). Please take this into consideration too.

If you lost your My Documents folder, they you most likely lost the region/CJ. Hopefully this didn't happen. 250th Post!

Yeah everyone is comparing this to Katrina, and Katrina was caused by Mother Nature, not BP. The government shouldn't need to step in, BP should be going out of their way to fix this, but because they are not that responsible, and also careless in the making of this well, they should take full of responsibility and give the money everyone who is effected by this. BP can pay until they go bankrupt, but they can't pay to fix all the issues with small companies that were DESTROYED in this spill. We should just wait sometime (maybe a few thousand years) and then start at making a souther fishing economy.

Ok, I have do the same exact thing as you did reagarding the install of the main files on a drive that is other than c, such as f. You need to install all your plugins into the My Documents Sim City 4 folder. Regarding if SC4 will run without My Documents, it won't because you won't have regions. That is where your regions are saved as well.
