Keweenaw Well, I am taking what I have learned from the Zug Territory, and starting a new region, which I call Keweenaw. Here are some quick shots of it. Thanks for looking, and have a nice day.

So does the A380 use the highway for a runway? would make commuting quite interesting

Possible that usage may have dropped over time, but look at marijuana, its been outlawed for quite a few years now I believe and it was nowhere near as widespread as alcohol is, and its still pretty widely used. Also, at one point do we stop, playing games can be viewed as a waste of time and money, hell being on this forum can be, should all that be banned? Cars can kill, should they be banned? Arrest people for not sleeping some amount of hours and affecting their judgement?... but anyway, 7.1 million is a crazy amount of people to have had in jail for stuff. I would also like to point out most people dont have a problem with alcohol, just a small amount do.

Alcohol prohibition? that worked so well the first time, people didn't just go and get it from unregulated sources and cause gangs and violence to flare up. It just makes it unregulated and more dangerous than what you are trying to cure.

The Capital of Michigan is Lansing, and uh... it snows there -
From what Ive heard if its detected rather early, it doesnt take (comparitively) all that much to move it out of collision course, it would only have to have its direction changed a few degrees, you wouldnt have to stop it first.

off to a good start, keep it up! -
HD crashes are always good, however, don't quit your day job to become a train engineer

According to an article in USA Today, that falling object was most likely a meteor/meteorite (whatever the proper term is), not something from the sateliite collision. Kind of a let down, in a way. Edit: found the link http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/2009-02-16-texas-meteor_N.htm

Some interesting stuff here, just for though. http://engineering.calumet.purdue.edu/engineering/engineering/blooming_engineering_job_market_27_58.html demand for the top 10 jobs in the US back from 2007, Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical engineers are on there. Also, engineers are on short lists for immigration to alot of countries, UK and Australia being the two others I've become most familiar with, civil is the highest in demand which does fo with what Duke said. And I did have a graph showing that even with the shedding of our manufacturing jobs, the actual production/capacity of the US kept increasing, but that report was from early 2000s and somehow the link now leads to a completely different thing now, so that's no help.

Maybe I'm totally missing it, but where can I find complete cities?
Zezug replied to Phaeno's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
As far as I know, there are no sites that have full cities for download, I know for sure this site doesn't have any, nor do any of the other sites I've seen. -
Looks good, I would say get rid of the one in the bottom picture, the top one has a train station and onramp so convieniently placed to it, however I don't have any idea what building should replace it.
-
looks good, where did you get the dirt things you are using for the construction areas?

Replies- Joetropian1- Thanks NMUSpidey- Yea, can't let the Projects stay on such valuable land. Glad you like the rowhouses, those took a while to get to spawn right. PhilsCafe- Yea, I do just a bit Franklin Franklin is just one of many small towns spread throughout the Keweenaw area. Below is an overview of the town. Frankiln was started originally as a place for a lumber mill to process logs and then send the lumber to the cities to be used for buildings and furniture. Small logging operation right outside of town. Franklin's downtown has a few small local business and one small office building which was built recently. Another underlying part of Franklin's economy is agriculture. There are a few farms and one pasture here. Some SkyFarms have been built and are used along with more normal farms. Any comments/questions/suggestions are welcome.
