Looking pretty good, sometimes the pictures seem a bit bright, like the second one in this update, but that's more of a personal opinion -
Holy crap, so nice, so very nice.

US Officials flunk test on American history, economics, & civics
Zezug replied to Micah's topic in Current Events
I got 87.88%. Apparently the average score on it is 78%, interesting. I got questions 7, 8, 28, 29 wrong. Really though, how can anyone get the question about our enemies in WW2 wrong? It's not like there haven't been tons of movies and games about it. Or that it was ever mentioned in classes at school. That's sad. -
http://news.mongabay.com/2008/0521-energy.html link to infromation about U.S. C02 emissions, saw someone mention that it would interesting to compare and here ya go.

Very nicely done. The city looks amazing and so real. Well done. -
Welcome to the Zug Territory! The Zug Territory was settled hundreds of years ago, originally by people looking for furs and other riches. In the late 1800s, the discovery of coal in the region brought more people and even though many of the mines have run out, the region has found new industries to survive and thrive with. The most important form of transportation in the region is rail. Much of the freight and passenger traffic moves via rail, and the heavy rail works in combination with HSR, subways and buses to move people about. The most heavily used is just the normal rail, and a large corridor has been built connecting Houghton, Shelby and Calumet. The regions relies on rails like the U.S. lives on highways. This post will have the most recent region view (Update 10), and a transportation view soon. Any comments/suggestions are welcome.

PhilsCafe- Thanks, I based it on some of the small towns I've been to, and glad that you like how it turned out Tomasneto- Thanks Theirishnintendonerd- Thanks NMUSpidey- Just be careful on those turns haljackey-Thanks, I try to show a variety of areas Mohawk Welcome to Mohawk, the city I am currently working on. This city is low-medium rise city, and is the first one I am developing this way. Here is the main rail station, some shops, some housing, and one of the first avenues in the region. You can also see the car-free zone in the bottom area of the picture. Here is a shot of the car-free commercial area. Subways and walking are the only way to get here. Here is a raised park in a corner of the car-free zone. There is parking provided underground here. This is just a small area of Mohawk, and more will be revealed in the next few updates. I am go to try new things here, and appreciate any feedback/comments that people have. Thanks

everyone- I'm glad you all liked it as this it my favorite town of mine so far, and I'm glad everyone enjoyed it. SirUnger- Thanks wishfulanthony- Thanks PhilsCafe- thanks MotherofInvention- Thanks and yes it does seem a bit big, I was planning a bit ahead with it for expanding the industrial area in the near future NMUSpidey- Thanks Resender- thanks and 1) Its working out pretty well for me, I've just ended up using monorail stations. The main difficulties I've run into are a) the curves can be difficult to fit in with how wide they end up being and b) I just couldn't get the elevated station in High Speed Rail Station Pack to work 2) REPower Modern Wind Turbines- this contains the wind tubines and the largest one makes about 1400 mw as compared to the 200 of the maxis one 3)BLaM High Capacity Monorail Station - thats the station 4)SimTropolis Train Station train station Eagle River Welcome to Eagle River, a small community to the east of Calumet and it is home to just over 3500 peopleThese first three shots cover the town from north to south East from the Residential area above, the road leads down to a ferry that is the only way across the river here, and on the other side of the river, after getting off the ferry, you get to travel along this road, one of the most scenic, and most dangerous roads in the territory.

I love the glare coming off the tall building in the first pic, looks good, can't wait to see more.

very nice areas, think the red eyes on Obama overdid it a bit, the mustache/goatee alone would've been better. I like how you've done your sunken highways

Painesdale Welcome to Painesdale Township, just south of Dodgeville. The only town within the Township is Painesdale, and here is its town center, just north of the rail station Here is the local school inside of the street diamond. This is also within the largest neighborhood. Here is an overview of the town. To the east (right) of town is the industrial park on the river. The main rail interchange that links the town and the indutrail area to the main rail corridor. Any comments/suggestions/questions are welcome.

Nice, really like the effects on your pics, and good start on the story.

Very nice job so far. I really like your midtown area, and the sprawling, griddy, single family housing reminds me of home.

Looks pretty good overall, however that church in the 3rd to last pic looks a little barren around it. Maybe put some trees or something near it. Or if you like it that way, leave it, this is just my opinion.
