Finally got a update in so on behalf of the people of flint, from mayor to mayor, i thank you dtp. Ohh and i know i shouldn't be advertising but flint is having elections soon so if any of you want to run, just post in the thread!

Well Finally update 5 is here, and yes i am winning that war, who says i have to spell perfectly.....though bare with me im trying, you should have saw me a year ago I forgot the welcome to flint picture I dont know how i forgot that, but things have really improved for flint. Though there's alot of good news, there semi bad news, but that will come later. ill like to thank Halifax, and Virgin Shores for the aid they have given flint in it's time of need, and with that aid all this would have been set back. a former cargo ship carring important aid. another ship waiting for it's turn. Now let's see how things have improved. as you can see verything has been cleared and waiting for rebuilding, and even more. The new park is underconstruction, the builders are trying to make it as historic as possible, and the area where the tram line will go is there too. the avenue is also complete as well. even a enlarged bridge to handle more traffic. this area is also cleared, the tramline goes over the river and ends here. A larger overview of the main downtownish area. This area is going to be developed as residential, and at the sametime be using sound walls around the highways and rail lines. This area will finally be fully developed. Many people suggested commercial district, and another suggested memorial with nice residential, so ive combined them, this will be a memorial with some nice residential and commercial area. you'll see this all completed in next update so stayed tuned now i mentioned some semibad, well this morning Flint daily reported some intresting news, remember this is illinois politics were talking about. this caused a riot at city hall. now everything is good now, but this leaves 5 unopened positions for a advisor. So im allowing you the viewer to run! If any of you have seen a cj called Virgin Shores you know how it goes, the positions are. -Utilites advisor -water resources commission -Transportation advisor -Recreation advisor -Planning commitee -department of health and education that advisor resigned later that day. all you have to have is atleast 1 post in flint I will be taking nominations through pm for about 2 weeks. also do you have a building, a company, or a proposal for Flint? just draw it up and post it here, and it may appear in the cj if i approve! so see you next update, remember post a comment, or suggestion!

I have a question, is anything new with the elevated roads is happening? there are many great area's that they help, but it would be wonderful if the network we developed even more! like more realistic downgrades, ect, skins for it, more pieces, who know's mabey even road over road? i just think there's still alot of potiential for that. also what's wierd with that picture is that i see alot of bugs with it, if you look at the roads that avenue actually looks like oneways before it goes meadinless.

i actually live in a collage town, university of illinois to be exact, and we see many benifits from the collage, extra business, us actually being on the map, the collage provides many many jobs, without the collage this town would be in a state of decline even.

finaly got a update in flint, as mayor of flint im asking Mayor dtp for emergancy supplies to be sent to flint. we have enterd a state of emergancy.

Im really trying to make this interactive, but ill keep that in mind Ohh and supplies is much needed as you'll see in the next update, it could become a cj event But for the second time tonight, ill post this update. Flint has saw a very very tough week, city hall has been lacking when the city needed it most, many resources are going towards getting business to stay in flint, other funding is for relocation, building temporary buildings, but it's been really swamped and reaction times have been slow, many people are forced to bypass streets becasuse there still blocked, there are roling blackouts as tempratures hit high 80's, because two main trasformers were destroyed and the last has struggled. Many food/grocery stores are destroyed or empty, forcing sims to travel for food. The city has made a curvew, and stopped commercial seaport use for the time being. And bus service to most area's is cancled. They hope things start to return to normal by a month. The blackouts happening in action on a warm night. Though persay the town is still destroyed some work is starting. This area is set to have it's road work done, and seawalls to start work within 2 weeks, this is the best of it, now let's see some not as good areas. This area is getting somework, and it looks up. This area is also looking up. though still totaled. This is the area where the proposals was focused on, both have passed, though no date for construction has been set. Though the industrail area is still in complete devestation. Flint has also entered a offical state of emergancy, and is now asking for emergancy aid from other cities.

though some people inboth cities have thought that putting a forign refinery in flint could be even better. im just saying that dew to a disaster in flint all commercial oilshipments will be on hold.

Yesterday at around 4pm a tornado touched down just outside of Flint, sirens went off olny 4 minutes before. this is the area afterwards. It then jumped the river and started it's onsluaght into main Flint. afterwards: then it started hitting residential Then the industrial area is next in it's path. as you can see the devistion was huge, these types of sights were comment that day Though the destruction is massive the city has already saw a oppurtunity to make it better. To move a historic, yet destroyed park 1 tile east, to allow a avenue to be fully made, this plan has already met harsh critism, a group of citizens have already pledged to protestm To contruct a light rail line next to that avenue. The city over the half century hasent had much money to spend on, as the town until the windmills was preety much the average 2000 people, but with all this growth many think planning ahead is good, Remember to vote on the poll.

Update 2: We hit 20,000! just do this every update, just with a updated picture. in this picture you can see that the seaport village is done, let's take a look down there. This really gave me a wonderful change to use some of my peg lots. really fit's into the area. It is served by ferry's, and has a coast gaurd station, which i believe they have lake services, so it makes since that a busy industrial lake is sure to have some form of coast gaurd. now time for nightshots of the area! and this well i just like thw shot and the ship Also the hotles are done! the oil tanks are done, they are owned by 'Virgin Shores Oil Comapny' And a new industrial area was built using farmland, old farmer joe actually was happy to give it up...well atleast for a good amount of money, he recently moved to flordia. Also more wind plants were added for the area's fast growing power needs. That residential development was completed, adding 5 thousand plus people to the area. another residential development happend over the river. I try to be as wierd as possible with streets. And the new Residential developments in main city flint. At first i was pissed two large towers decided to grow, so i destroyed one, then fell in love with the other, it kinda fits in stragnly, though nothing like that until the town get's larger. Also new commercial development. And another one. the developer unfortnantly lost funding so it's gone untouched, so im asking the community for proposals, though im limiting them to 2 block areas ( land within the road ) knock yourselfs out so i leave you with a couple last shots. told you it fits in But just someinfo, last update it had around 11,000, now it's over 21,000. 5 years ago it had around 2000, so within 5 years it got around 20,000 new people, now that's growth. All this wealth and growth has also set in a 'what can go wrong' mood in the town, so up next is Update 3: Disaster hit's flint

hmmm ok, though i have to use it because somethings dont appear in my menu's and others are olny growable. Though it makes me wonder why people olny make some building's growable. Ohh and should virgin shores construct a building in flint, i should get update 2 done today, so the oil tanks are done, you could even build a forign refinery. and psander: that's good, but yea rail will be taken into consideration, we wouldn't want to suddenly remember and have all this confusion, ect

very nice, love my developments! Ohhh remember that building plop i told you about? it's in the cheat menu, it allows you to plop anything, even olny growables. and the offices were the olny onces avaliable.

now to continue my hostil take over of oilville fullview is better. but yea, the creation of a oilville beach area. Massive expansion of residence, and even commercial to try and give developers space for beach development, extenstion of rhw, and a possible exit. I do have one concern, even though im the one proposing it, i believe we need to start taking land for rail in oilville, if this proposal is accepted, then that would mean limited room for effiecntly getting passenger, and even fright rail throuigh the tile, so any changes can and will fully be accpeted. Also i think a real estate office in oilville would be good, as in hampus village, resort/oak grove area, and medical center.

back in update 21 you saw a developmeing downtown, where all the lowwise skyscrappers were.
