I'll just answer some comments, otherwise I won't get to them until next Friday Aontan: Ha ha the first time I mentioned this upgrade in a newspaper I made, I used a picture of the Point Village Watchtower The building I used though is actually 110 (?) Bishopsgate from London, that's why I said "after some design changes" theirishnintendonerd: Glad you like. estapaflip: Not sure which ones you mean. If you meant the ones with the colourful trees and bushes, search 'urban beautification pack' on the STEX. If you meant the ones with the fence and small trees they're somewhere on the SC4D Lex

errr....NASA International Airport Seriously I'd guess the Kennedy Centre.

Looking good peoples Here's one of mine from an update from last week of my my CJ. The Illian Palace Complex was once home to the country's government but the capital when a new family ascended to the Paranor throne. The Palace now serves as a museum to the history of Paranor Island and the area is bidding to host the 3rd International Simlympic Committee Session.

Very nice region But one think, that little shed is the second busiest airport in Ravoi?
-
Now you may remember from way back on page 1 I had a newspaper article about the proposed upgrade of the headquarters of the Paranor Worker's Union. Well here it is, after some small design changes Suplado: Thanks, glad you like

Nice start, although you double posted your first update I'll be keeping an eye on this in the future.

Another small update with a region shot of how Leah is looking at the moment. Dsrwhat316: I don't know, I kind of like the simplistic look, guess I'm a bit of a minimalist art128: Glad you like jacquilina: Thanks as always (starting to understand how you've gotten 32 thousand posts ha ha) pipisphere: very glad you like it sEAhAwk fAn121: Thanks a lot

It is interesting and uncertain period for Paranor Island with current security issues. Under advice from his security advisor, King Donaill has started regulating the country's state owned media. This serious step has been taken to try and ensure that paramilitary republican groups don't get more time and popularity in the media. When questioned on the matter by foreign newspapers and broadcasters, the government has denied any intervention in the state's media. However almost immediately after the rumours surfaced, changes could be seen in many news outlets. I've updated my older posts, with them now all having a personalized banner and a replies banner. I was back to school this week and the half seven mornings were a bit of a shock to my system so I haven't played SC much. For this reason there won't be loads in the way of updates this weekend but there will be little. I've also decided that now every time I update my CJ I will change the picture in my signature

Some embassies in Paranor Island. Remember you can still get one if you want The Carter Embassy Building contains several embassies. At the moment it is home to Sbah's Singapore, Rorysville and Imaginia Thanks Patricius Maximus

Here is the second Illian update of the weekend and we go to business district. Here are also some other areas around the IBC I also have some pictures of the Simlympic Park. willg: Glad you like fabsies: I have to say I disagree with you about the airport. And I didn't say I wouldn't go to extreme heights, I said I wouldn't make another city just completely full of skyscrapers like I did in my old CJ. Thanks for the compliment though psander5: Thank you I redid some of the lots for parliament building, the obelisk, the swordman, the church, the sea walls and one simple, empty diagonal path that I used a lot. The flower gardens are a lot from the STEX and the trees are part of a pack I got of the STEX (or LEX?)

Never happened with me and it's saved in one of my cities.

Now, the first of (hopefully) a couple of updates this weekend coming from And first up is the Illian Palace Gardens area of the city. This area was once the capital district when the Illia family ruled the country. The family still has a lot of power in the city through their ownership of Illia Corporation. This is also the area I'm bidding to host the 3rd ISC Session with the ISC meeting in the Old Parliament Building. GreekMan: Thanks, you seem very enthusiastic psander5: I preferred it myself but there wasn't much room for the terminal with it so I had to make some sacrifices jacquilina: Glad you like SimAnt: And I still don't play as much as I'd like to (God Damn friends asking me to go out) roboo1: Thank you very much penguin007: I wasn't sure if I had made it too big compared to the other terminal, I don't think each pier in the new airport has more gates than the whole of the old one willg: Gorram diagrams took me ages Retrodude818: It's the newer Ace Airport pack, look here knarfmo: Thank you Archean: Not much of the photoshopping in the last update was particularly hard, it's just about knowing what you're doing. Hope you like it, now I'm off to get my dinner Craig

what is your favourite landmark in this world ?

Originally posted by: Simtastico someone mentioned the Dublin Spire before.. what is that thing? looks like a huge tooth-pick.. quote> The Dublin Spire (officially the Monument of Light) is the world's tallest sculpture. It is a symbol of modern Ireland in one of the city's oldest areas. Lots of Dubliners thought it was ridiculous when planned and being built, but eventually it became hard not to love it Staying with Dublin are a few of my favourite landmarks. The first is The Custom House (now home to the Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government) This more modern one is across the river, George's Quay Plaza Not a great pic but this is Government Buildings And lastly, this is the Four Courts -
Good start, although you should turn off the U-Drive It icons. Keep it up
