As always, amazing work. You'll definitely be getting a Trixie nomination from me

This update is great, I love the use of the marina and boardwalks

Just a little something to let you all know I'm still alive This isn't much of an update but trust me, there's some big and important ones coming up. I had them all written out and my browser crashed so I'll get back to them

The Best Urban Layout for a Big Metropolis
Craig91 replied to LironTheChick's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
If you want to build any realistic type of city then don't build a grid, or as little of a grid as possible. Your goal shouldn't be to build the world's best city, but to build one that looks like a real city. The truth is most world cities are random messes with only newer ones having some sense or ordxer, and that's what you should be aiming for. -
Excellent work, really a job well done

Nice but I'm pretty sure there's a better version of the Eiffel Tower available

We're all screwed. I honestly believe the majority of humans are stupid for a reason; to destroy the world. It seems almost inevitable. Meteors, ice ages, now humans. Let's just hope we are intelligent enough to try and avert more things like this...we probably aren't

You cities are very good but they could easily be a lot better if you made some changes to add realism. The huge towers right next to 1 & 2 story buildings is very unrealistic so try and make the change happen more gradually. I also think the solar power plants in the middle of an urban area isn't realistic. I also think you could do with having some things like factories around the industrial docks before going into residential. I hope you don't see my suggestions as too critical but you have the potential to be a great CJer but just seem to be lowering the quality with some newbish mistakes.

Great update Pip, the canal is excellent -
It's coming along nicely

Hope you don't plan to end FBR wen you start your next CJ, I always got annoyed when you ended some great CJs Good luck with the trip to Ireland (you'll need it in this country) and hope your Grandmother gets better Also, remember that if you're going to Limerick, just because it's known as Stab City, doesn't mean it's any worse than the rest of this God forsaken island

Your updates never cease to amaze me, I have to agree with the above comment Happy New Year!

Amazing update seb! This ranks among the best CJ updates I've ever seen
-
Couldn't you have bought a pretty big external hard drive for $200? Great to see the building coming along
-
Couldn't be happier this CJ is back, I've really missed it
-
Good considering you have so little custom content. I think you have a lot of potential
-
Wow, some great looking nature shots there. I look forward to more

Whoa 'hahaha', way too many interchanges! While on a map it makes a pretty design, it isn't very realistic at all

It's that time of year and I'd just like to thank everyone who has supported this CJ over the past six months. Tomorrow, on Christmas Day, it will be exactly half a year since I started this CJ. I hope you have enjoyed it as I certainly have and I look forward to what the new year will bring. Speaking of which, here is a little teaser of post-Christmas updates. I have started completely rebuilding Leah, my capital city, as I have improved my skill since I first made it. There will also be some other changes, such as the relocation and resizing of Paranor to make it more realistic. I guess all that's left to say is Nollaig Shona Daoibh, Happy Christmas to you all
