Impressive start! The region is stunning, the location looks great too. Yay Scandinavia I can't wait to see some in-game pics.
-
Gorgeous teaser! Looking good with the dirt roads. Those houses are cute lol. I liked your 9/22 overview on page 4. Lovely construction/night pictures at the top of this page too - they seem so sharp and colorful. Now I look forward to seeing the "huge" update!

Thanks, guys! LoL @ zel Congrats Kyle! You'll be a great mod.

Ohh I like! Sorry I haven't been here in a while. The nature shots are beautiful. I liked the overviews at the beginning too. Except the parking lot mod you refer to, kinda looks a little "blocky"...I dont know if that makes sense. Ah well. Another good update, Beebeth!!

Halifax,Iowa-A Metropolis in the Making!
BlondeTwiggy replied to GreekMan's topic in SC4 City Journals
I would say B! I think 26 updates of one town might get monotonous (even for you) after a while. But how could you have 26 updates in increments of 5? You'd have one extra Unless my math skills have deteriorated worse than I thought -
Thank you, Craig and Patricius Maximus

You never cease to blow me away with your work!!! Everything is perfect, with the trees, rail, rowhouses, and colorful buildings.

Halifax,Iowa-A Metropolis in the Making!
BlondeTwiggy replied to GreekMan's topic in SC4 City Journals
I am back. Ooh, good, that renovation except the gov buildings was built without taxpayers' money. I approve! So glad you like my sig banner. Ooo, a mall! I like this too! I must go shopping here. The Embassy Suites hotel looks kinda weird. Is it actually BATted like that? Looks like a glenni building lol. I like the W2W beside it. The overview is highly impressive, if not a bit griddy at times. However, it looks very well-planned. -
REPLIES Thank you for all the lovely replies. Leech10: It makes the trip a whole lot shorter...no, just kidding. It's a good university. And they have rent-a-cops! anik: I appreciate your comment. CarmineHilton: Thank you, Carmine! penguin007: Glad you liked the housing! Thank you for commenting. Zelgadis: I don't know, it seemed just slightly off in-game; I think it looks fine, though. If it's really bothering you, you can re-lot it. ky72x: Hey, Kyle! Thanks for stopping by. I'm glad you liked the flag plaza and noticed the baseball stadium. art128: Thanks for commenting on it! PhilsCafe: Thank you very much. So glad you liked even the Maxis stuff. anarchy0029: Thanks! Here is more. knarfmo: Thank you for looking. Glad you liked the "feel"! Here is part 2 of New Dawn!

I took it. -
Everyone said I'd "grow out of" sleepwalking...hopefully you will. I don't think I have yet. Apparently, I sleepwalk when I'm at friends' slumber parties. Maybe it's just the excitement of being with my friends, in a different house, etc. Nowadays if I suspect I'm making midnight excursions, I prop up a comb against my door...kinda weird, I know But if I open the door in my sleep it will be knocked down and I'll know I was sleepwalking... Oh, I also heard you should never wake a sleepwalking person. Don't know how true this is. Sorry, otherwise, I don't have much advice.

BlondeTwiggy replied to Patricius Maximus's topic in SC4 City Journals
My first visit here (I think..) I love your extensive usage of trees, so realistic! + the big river going through. Great. The rail pics are gorgeous. Im not so big on the Maxis commercial though, that's just personal taste. Fabulous job -
Lol! Too funny! I haven't had much luck with the train UDI. Lovely pic though.

my first visit. I like! The downtown seems realistic and un-exaggerated. I wonder how the city is gonna pay for all those pretty buildings? Oh, well, one is a mall, so I approve. Of course the mayor wants a new office. Looking good and I like the green space in your city. -
I like this alot. You have done a great job with the terraforming & building on the slopes. The waterfalls are beautiful! I approve of the lack of grid. Great use of all those waterfalls in the latest update!

St Marque Inlet - Alicante City - Darnassus
BlondeTwiggy replied to Fox's topic in SC4 City Journals
Oh, I remember this CJ!! It is so good! I can't wait to see new work from you. The island looks great, really well-terraformed. I love the borders on the sides of the pic, and the tree-covered coastline. The roundabouts look great too. Looking forward to seeing more of Darnassus. -
I always thought Wiki was somewhat reliable, with the citations and all. But you're right, Zel, without knowing the author, his background, biases, etc., it's hard to evaluate. Oh, and I find it annoying when I don't know something about a topic and someone just sends a Wiki link, as if that explains everything

This place never ceases to amaze me. I like the train pic in the 9/9 update. 9/12 update is awesome! The greenness and little river. The church is very beautiful too. Dont worry about your Spanish, can't say mine is any better

"This class is great, I haven't learned anything yet"
BlondeTwiggy replied to vailo's topic in General Off-Topic
I would love to work but my parents won't let me. I have the time (well...I would make the time) and I want to learn how to save money, make a budget, etc. So, it's not always the government? However I think it's good that school is mandatory...Otherwise like hym said we would follow our "natural inclinations" and do nothing. About being self-taught...That's not going to work in most cases, one because people are lazy, and two...well personally I comprehend things much more easily when I am taught by a teacher, than if I am just reading by myself. I still like to read and learn extra stuff outside of the classroom though, just dont learn it as well. My two cents -
I am back, and glad I remembered to come back The Asian city is lovely, lots of details! I love the last pic with the bridge and trees and boat. The city itself looks well planned-out. Emiya's castle is great on the water next to the rocks & boat. Nicely done.
