  1. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

I'm on the verge of CoD 4 pretty soon. I played the first one decades (well it feels) ago and I loved the rollercoaster effect of moving and shooting and moving and shooting and somewhere catching up with your breath. The only one knock I heard for this sequel though is that, just like carnival rides, the story & therefore the game, tends to be very short and quick. Is it true? (And I ain't good enough at any game to do an online multi-player thing. )
  2. Neglectful Mom or Overzealous Cop?

Gotta love scavenger hunts! I remember when my older brother would take me snark hunting... well nevermind.

  4. 69 Year old arrested for marijuana possession

Mary Ann?? I hope Mrs. Purpledaddy looks as sexy at 69 in a mugshot. Although maybe she does look a little like Willie Nelson there though. I now kinda wonder what Ginger looks like now.
  5. Most Annoying Song(s) Ever

"You say good 'buy' " on the Target commercials.
  6. Waterboarding

Well fortunately I heard they stopped showing prisoners '60's surfer movies!
  7. Most Annoying Song(s) Ever

I don't know any popular songs anymore. But I know annoying songs from commercials. I am almost resolved not to take my children to see "Horton Hears a Who" next week b/c of their rendition of "I Can't Fight This Feeling Anymore" by Journey. MrZ: I'd be careful if you don't want Mr.C to demote you!
  8. Maybe she thought he looked too much like Vincent D'nofrio! (Pvt Pyle in the movie.)

Unless this is your normal route to school, work, or get groceries, you need to at least use the maps on Google, Yahoo, or MapQuest first. Now, as a fellow bull-headed coot, I tell my wife that I get lost on purpose so that I can know where I am going later on. It's just incredible enough for her to believe.

^That's b/c you fit into another common stereotype: a guy who doesn't ask for directions! Oh, and before all them fancy coffees(yuck!), the people who dispensed sodas (colas?) were actually called jerks!

I knew this site was held up by Scotch tape!
  17. I am not a yob.

^Yep, I'm proud to set a bad example by never had grown up myself!
  18. I am not a yob.

I don't label anyone with those terms because I never heard of them before in my life! They kinda sound like something out of Dr. Suess! (My empty navy suit tends to scare people in restaurants though.)
  19. The Self-Aggrandizement Thread

Well in the Real Life Bureau of Bureaucracy I own a humongous collection of paper clips that are scattered throughout our several floors that fellow bureaucrats use and borrow at their pleasure. (w/ due to homage to comedian Steven Wright! )
