Big John's Coal mine the biggest, and by the way only gold mine in the region.... Small but very profitable....operates on Government land TAX FREE!

 

 

 

The canals run throughout the region and are popular with all the residents.

AHH the cultural district museum and old church next to a state of the art college (blue) right next to the senic canal.

Business is booming and the new light rail keeps the fusssy sims moving to where they need to go

Not all of the region is hussel and bussel the farming here produces some of the best agricultural products in the SIM world. (dairy Farm)

Lake Walawumpa has numerous cabins trail and nesting Saw Whet Owls, Red Headed Woodpeckers, and Bald Eagles WOW..Birders love it out here....

The great fort here defended this region in its early days, now its part of a National Park and the Saw Whet Trail is a favorite for visitors and birders alike.

Newman's coal mine produces 50 tons of coal a day to power the coal plants through out the region..tour groups welcome SAT and SUN 10-4....

Of course many of the worker live here...beuatifully surrounded by nature to relax in the hot springs after a day in the mines....

Looking good!  I love the way you have done the forest with the lake and everything.(I would suggest your getting rid of the box and the U drive it things)  Can't wait for the next update!  Keep it up.

I love that suken highway! And the naval base - how about a few reigon pics? Do u no about the reigon census?

9/10 for the whole presentation-feel of the city.  i wouldn't mind living there!

Ok here are some pictures of the new airport though not 100% yet I have to get these up before I fly to Ecuador and the Galapagos, and return to new job in Florida, man thats a long drive from NYC to Florida with a compact car with a canoe on the roof. Check em out!

your CJ looks nice! i myself am also tweeking with the NYC region.. but i took a different approach to it.

Well it has been a long time since I've posted, and with no internet at my new home here in Florida, and nothing but satalite available, it maybe some time before this get another picture, plus my laptop came with me not my desktop, and it won't rum SC4 with my 1500 plug ins or so until I upgrade the RAM to a gig from 256. I have been using a work computer to build an enitely new region and that will once online take the place of this region. Thank you to all who make the maps and bats that have made my cities grow! See you all soon.
