well that was a terrible start to my revived bat carreer... I tried to open that again now and its corrupted and I have no backup! so nevermind that, Ill start working on something new right now

Simen, if you get a corrupted file for any reason, before you do anything else always look in the Autobak folder, and make sure you do this within the time limit you have set for automatic backups to be done. You may lose some splines etc., but you will at least have the majority of the model. Simply open the most recent Autobak file and then save it with a new name to your Scenes folder before you do anything to it. Might be too late this time, but always something you should keep in mind in case this happens again. I take it you tried all the normal things like attempting to merge the corrupt file into a blank scene?
