I dunno if someone already posted about this, but i really could find anything on it...
I've been having trouble with my low density residental zones.. they don't seem to be growing past the first level of trailers... into big brick houses... i've never had this problem before but not its happening.. i've tried everything.. i've gotten rid of the most recent plugins... i've re installed  the game.. i've taken all of the plugins out... even now since i've gotten a new computer its still happening.. i'm not sure if this problem is just in my head or if others have been expirenceing this as well... the demand is there for the residential growth, i've built schools and hospitals, police and fire stations.. everything.. but they just don't seem to get past the the little trailers.... any help would be great...

Hello,

You forgot to provide Sims water and sanitation systems to throw away that tissue. Water supply is a good key to high-rises and sanitation systems keep your city streets clean from rubbish. Rubbish (or garbage as in the game) tend to lower zone desirability. Business deals also tend to lower a certain demand sector.

Good luck. 1.gif

The easiest way is to like Constantina said give them want they need (water, power, clean air clean streets) and then plop a few parks nearby and they should pop up everywhere.

Examine your jobs and population graph. Your population should be about double the number of availalble jobs.

Also, expanding on what Constantina and pjot have already mentioned, don't forget about schools, hospitals, fire stations, and police stations. Many of these services are not need to grow from the first to second stage but it is a good idea to at least plan these first before you zone you neighborhoods. Just be persistant and they will sprout... 44.gif
