Nice, I love what you've done with the lot. The model looks like it could do with a touch more contrast in some areas (guttering and windows). The main door looks great.

Current status of the geothermal power station
    Geothermalkraftwerk3.jpg

Some adjustments in the colors are made, especially the green of the fence and the color of the barbed wire (The picture lost contrast by color depth reduction2.gif).
The new props on the lot (fence and barrier, an open barrier is not part of the lot) will gone as additional dat-file.

Interesting building,  I really like what I assume to be the walkways between the main building and the two smaller labs, but would should a hightech building be brick, why not concrete or a cladding texture? And how about a few pipes and air vents?

How about a building with a more complex molecule9.gif Just kidding. This will be a very interesting and unique building.

Way back in my uni days (20 years ago) I had to work on a Fortran program that calculated bond angles and lengths for complex molecules (the Applied Maths people would be familiar with Eigen Values and Eigen Vectors 14.gif). It would walk around the molecule and produce a ton of coordinates that were then fed into a graphics computer (this was in the PDP11 days) to draw the molecule. We were trying to generate the co-ords for what was called Soccerene; a C60 molecule with a carbon atom at each vertex of a soccer ball. The program wouldn't close, it carried an error all around the atom. We found that PI was only entered to 12 decimal places. We entered it to 15 (or 16 whatever Fortran would handle then) and it got a lot closer but couldn't get it accurate enough (perhaps now with 64-bit addressing?). Anyway, sorry for the nostalgia.

@Lord_Bertrum: Where did you see bricks?. There are only painted and fettled walls.

@deadwoods: I get the same comment on the Sim Forum.21.gif They request a dextrose building (C_{6}H_{12}O_{6}). Here is the molecule from the wikipedia

The building is ready. The lots needs two small adjustements and I also want to add the company sign as prop to the lot. Here the current ingame view:

In the last days I make some tests with below zero props to cover slopes at the border of railway and street by a concrete wall. But I get only trouble with the z-axis. All the results look ugly.

So I go another way to fixing slopes at the borders of traffic lines. Here is one example at a railway

Another lot uses the typical 1970 concrete flowerbeds. I have to delete the upper row and make the material brighter.

Interesting, do you think that the two buildings at either end look in proportion to the chamber?

I like that K&S building, it's got a very nice 60s design, particularly with the sloping windows at the front.
