Wow this very cool. It reminds me of one I saw in Koblenz, Germany. We went up it.

@ michi
That's the reason why I took this old pictures, cause they are the only once showing the base, not very good though.

yeah but there's a new Building, made of glass. It was built around the tower, as far is I know. The tower does not stand on green grass I think. But it's just a small building with Souvenirshop and so 1.gif

I was there.....in September 1.gif

Is this base accurate?  You can't really trust SimCity 3000 Unlimited, but this is what they have.  I also have the Riesenrad next to it.  That'd be a fun BAT!  But to bad it wouldn't be functional...

(I forgot to load the picture...)

I think the solution on the picture looks good. If its right - I don't know.

Yeah, Riesenrad would be nice to place in some of my cities 4.gif

EDIT: Here is a Photo . Does it stand on Grass or not?

It can't stand on grass, it has to stand on at least a meter of concrete due to decomposition.  If you were to build this on grass it wouldn't stand more than a month due to sinkage.  I am going to put a walkway of cement around the tower.  I've decided that I will use the SC3KU picture for the base enterance part.  What should the tile be?  My first export (80 minutes) I made a 3x3, but it could be more as of a park.  What should it be?

I haven't updated in a while.  I've been soooooo busy with the Stratosphere.  Here is an update.  I changed the outter gate around the observation.  Now it's an acceptable height.  Last time you could step over it!

I haven't updated in a while, but I guess the tower is done.  It's just the base part that needs some work.  Sorry for neglecting this project.

That's a great faris wheel! I rode it with my family last summer when we took a trip to Austria (my grandpa's Austrian so he took us on a trip there to show us around). I also like the theme part next to the Riesenrad.

Wow 6.gif So many details 44.gif But shouldn't the base below those large windows be a bit darker? I liked the previous version better.
    Good luck!

The night lights should be just a tad bit brighter.

I also have another suggestion if at all possible. The ~ sign at the top of the tower on the antena, should be a little smaller in scale. It just seems as big as the observation tower.

    Overall, GREAT!16.gif

    Hi!

Thank you for that great work! It's really looking good! And it's great you're reconstructing buildings from Vienna. Have you ever been here?

    @ Bobinator

The Theme Park around the Riesenrad is called Wiener Prater 2.gif
Very nice - I'm sometimes there to ride the coasters. Ok, there are no real coasters, like these ones in America, but still nice 1.gif

My granny lives just 2min away from the Prater (just over the street), and I've just been there today 9.gif

    @ Nintendomaster
ok, i can't say anything more than: I just wanna get it right now! 3.gif

All I really need is the roofjunk and some minor nitelite changes and it's all done!  Since I'm with the NDEX right now, Equinox might be the one to release this.  I'm yet to decide.

N7 now has Donauturm!  Yay!  I can't wait to see the nitelite job he does on it!  It only needed minor changes, I'm not sure if he will redo what I've done and just start over, or just add a little extra.  I hope to hear back from everyone!  Equinox will render and it will be released sometime soon!
