Update

I have correctly modelled the curved roof now, unfortunatly im having trouble with the UVW Map, i cant get it to look right (annoying). While i figure out a way to do this there are a few things wrong with the model (highlighted in the second image).

There is still a lot to do on the Midland Grand Hotel before i can start on the train shed, for example, the ground floor, shops, entrances, bringing some LIFE into the model, and of course, NIGHTLIGHTING. I am also going to change the brick texture to something a little less deep.

Im having a bad headache trying to create that curved roof, its just not possible to texture that. Ill keep trying untill i find a solution though.

VERY, VERY good work!!!! one recomendation, its a train station? huh y dont know.. if its a train station i will say not another train station, but i will like it more if it was a landmark(like old castles)

SC4 Meister is an ITS Hero.

 

I worked on the station as detailed as my PC could get without exploding, i settled on the station i now have (draft previews crashed my pc so i could t go any further) and SC4 Meister did the 63 HOUR render. Thankyou so much SC4 Meister!!

amzing work tonkso.. i do have to say though that i feel that the scale is out with (is it?) frogfaces station next to it? im not saying ur scale is wrong... or his but.. well.. i dont wat to take anything away from this great bat so i'll be quiet.

Tonks I am really in love with your station, it is a superb work, but I can't use it, no rails to connect with and I tried all what can be done. Even putting it with all the required plugins in a new created folder and used all plain as test again but no rails..... Downloaded all three times but have no clue why the rails do not show. Only the right corner one does, that small one, but it is not enough, boohoo and I wish so much to use this staion. Have you any solution or a tip what I should try to work this out? Thanks in forward.
