    Hi,

Am I the only one suffering severe performance problems with Rush Hour? I'm on a G5 4x2.5 with the standard NVidia 6600 graphics card and 3 gig RAM. So far, I have simply assumed that this was due to the problems introduced with 10.4.3, but as far as I understand things now those problems are supposed to be confined to GeForce 4 and 5 series. Also, The standard version of SimCity seems to work fine. It is only when I install the Rush Hour expansion that everything slows to a snail's pace.

Apart from peforming slowly, the game also seems to forget all my graphics settings when I quit and start the program back up.

Anyone know anything about this? I've looked around but can't find any mention of it anywhere.

    /o

    Wow 42.gif
    That's a tough one.
I'm running a G5 2x2.5 with 2Gb of RAM, and the only thing I have an issue with is a bizarre, garbled sound coming during U-Drive it missions. I just ignore it nowadays.
Now, mind you, I don't think I've played the game since upgrading to 10.4.3... so I'll get back to you on that if something new and buggy has been introduced.

I suppose now is the time to repeat those pesky OSX rules they always say after upgrades: repair permissions, run your diagnostics, etc etc. (and reinstall)
I think maybe there may be a problem with your preference files or disk permissions. It seems to be some kind of Linux bug that makes these wacky program issues arise after upgrades...
