Endless Load Screen

So, I've heard this problem from a few people now, and its happened to me twice ...

when loading a city, it gets stuck in an endless load screen, and never actually loads the city. For me, I've been able to resolve this by deleting the contents of my user-data folder, and reloading the game .... but there's one huge drawback to doing that ... you have to do through that damn tutorial! It's given me a one-time shot to get in my city, and then I can't again until I delete the folder again, but dude, the tutorial AGAIN!?

SOooooo, questions time:

1) has any figured out how to resolve this problem a different way?

2) If the only work around is deleteing the contents of the userdate folder, can someone tell me what the tutorial file is so that I DON'T have to go through it again?
3) Does anyone have an idea about how to prevent this problem from starting to begin with?

Oh, wow ... no sooner do I report this problem, then I answer one of my own questions (for both #1 and #2).


SOO, if you get the loading screen bug, the official solution woulda been to go to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\SimCity\SimCityUserData

... and delete all its contents (or move it to a new folder).

This solution would make the game start fresh, which is why you would do the tutorial again. You'd be able to enter your game again w/o infinite load.

So I just tried this again, with simcity running and trying to load the city, and it made the game load INSTANTLY. It also didn't allow me to delete all the files, so I'm hopping *fingers crossed* that it won't make me tutorial next time I load.

I can't access my cities because of this endless loading screen error. Can you tell me what i need to delete from the SimcityUseerData folder?
