Ok so I wan't to start making regions for Simcity 4 from USGS data. I can make the region as long as it's small,But when It's to big it breaks it down into smaller puzzle pieces,is there anyway to put these pieces together using microdem to create one image?

I also have another question, when I load the map into Landscape designer the elevations are all off, like there would be huge spike in the middle of the map or large hills,Is there a flatten button where I can just make the map flat?

There are lots of controls in the Landscape Designer, but detail such as you are requesting needs you to write the reverse image grey-scale map out and tackle it in an editor such as the GIMP.  The GIMP is free, but comes in many pieces, so if you go that route you will need to look hard at the site.  Be sure to get the help files and the tutorial 'Grokking the GIMP'.  There is a support forum.
